My wife and I recently stayed at the CedarWood Inn. We were very pleased with our stay. The owner and his family were great. The room was as advertised and reminded me of some old hunting cabins from the 40's and 50's. Our room had solid wood paneling and the unique smell

This was a special trip for my daughter and I. The room wasn’t to my standard of clean. Floor was not clean. Sheets had stains. Dust was in corners. On the outside it said just opened. Yet things were already falling apart. I would hate to see this place in a year. Just wasn’t

It was very clean and quaint! Very close to everything and the staff was very sweet. Would recommend for a mountain getaway. Not fancy but we had everything that we needed. It was exactly what we expected and the price was fair.

Loved this rustic ,cozy Inn. Danny is super nice and helpful. The bed and bedding is super comfortable. Our room was very clean. All around great stay and will definitely be back again. Also, go into Flat Rock and eat at Honey & Salt. Always busy but worth the wait. Thanks

I believe it's mostly handicap accessible, depending on the handicap. From my recollection, most of the rooms are accessed by going up 1 or 2 steps to get to the front door. But the rooms consist of about a dozen individual bungalows, so the best way to know for sure is to call and talk to the owner, Danny, he can tell you for sure if all the rooms require going up a step or not. The shower was an easily accessible shower stall with a curtain, without a tub. Sorry, I don't recall the height of the commode.

are you pet friendly?
We made the decision many years ago based on guest reviews and our own experiences not to allow pets or smoking. Our research discovered it takes 85 days to remove dander from a room, this is not pet hairs but the invisible dander they leave that can cause allergic reactions. With only 18 rooms, designating even one as a pet or smoking room would impact our business. We constantly receive thanks from our guests that all rooms are pet and smoking free. Our area does offer many other pet friendly establishments.
