Hub and I spent last night here for our anniversary. I didn't even know this place was around until I was searching for a reasonably priced hotel for us to have a quick getaway and found it on booking.com. We got a special rate of $89 for a king room but I don't know how often they offer this...the website listed $135 a night for the same room. We took the deal and are very glad we did. Hotel is nice, very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. The room seemed very large for just a king however, I walked passed some open rooms this morning and noted the suites and double rooms seem to be average for a hotel. Bathroom is large and was very clean. Each room has a microwave and small fridge. This hotel does not have the usual amenities such as pool, hit tub, exercise room, business area. There is a small dining room and they serve a daily breakfast from 6:30-10:00...we did not take advantage of this as we had another place we wanted to try but there were a lot of people in the area as we came through. Grounds appear well cared for and there was a small patio area with table and chairs as well as benches right outside the front door. Employees were friendly and efficient so check in and out was a breeze. We will be keeping this one on our radar for possible return trips in the future.

Was going to try this place, but the Manager Jon was beyond rude. I went in to inquire about rates, and saw this man with sweat stains on his shirt yelling at an employee. He turns to see me standing there and makes the remark to the young woman to "Do her Job". I told the young lady not to worry I was not going to stay there. Your management loss a 5 day stay due to his total lack of manners, and I will not support a business that allows mid management to be so nasty. Front desk lady stated Jon is always like that

Im giving this review to this hotel, because in the middle of this pandemic every person that works at the front desk, and most of their employees, do not wear a mask. I see see this as a total disregard for the health and safety of their guest. I did contacted to GM before this review. he said in his email "I dont enforce the front desk staff to wear a mask"because he claims that they installed plexiglass, however the size of the plexiglass compare with the size of the opening at the front desk, offers no protection.

Returning after spending a week in Pigeon Forge we decided to spend a day in Hendersonville, NC. Tried several motels near Hendersonville but found no vacancies, Was directed to Mountain Inns and Suites. Checking it out on Trip Advisor and seeing the $79.00 cost I really wasn't expecting what I found. Arriving I was advised that the only room they had left was a room with two queen beds plus a third queen room. Arriving at the room we found two queen beds in a nice sized room with frig. and microwave a large bathroom. I found the third bed in a spacious second room. The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The building, grounds and parking lot were clean. The next morning I had vehicle problem. The maintenance man (do not remember his name) was offered and given a ride the the Chevrolet dealer. He advised that they were renovating the motel. Both the desk clerk and the maintenance man were very friendly and went out of their way to help out. Other reviewers complained about the breakfast or lack there of but there were numerous restaurant near by. The down town area or Hendersonville was only about a ten minute drive way. Would defiantly stay at Mountain Inns and Suites again.
