MOLD ALL OVER THE BED! Not dirt, not stains, MOLD. This place is so nasty it shouldn't even be allowed to be open. I know cheap motels/hotels can be a little gross sometimes but this place is disgusting, and I could list 10 more things in this room that I've never seen in 20 years of staying at cheap motels/hotels. I thought all the bad reviews were just people being overdramatic, nope they're all accurate. I've never walked out of a hotel I paid for before but there is no amount of money you could pay me to stay in this place. All the response comments from the management saying they will immediately address the issues are a joke, they haven't cleaned or put a dollar into fixing this place. If you're in Havelock please stay anywhere but here!

I stayed here Thanksgiving weekend 2022. Two things I should have done before booking: read the other reviews, which are poor; and checked out their cancellation policy. Once I booked, the money came right out of my account and there was no cancellation policy. Whether I checked in or cancelled, they retain 100% of the cost. The hotel itself is a dump. When I checked in after pre-paying $303 for 3 nights, I was hot with a $50 “deposit” which I was told would be returned to me within days of checking out. It wasn’t! I called the hotel and they said they released it and that the issue was with my bank. They lied; they just kept it. I assume it’s because not many people stay here, and for good reason. The bathroom was horrid, and there was no exhaust fan that worked, which is a building code violation. The state of North Carolina needs to shut them down until they do a thorough cleaning and get up to code! Very disappointed, I will not be back!

Do NOT stay here! The female staff lady chased me down the hall saying something about keeping her floors clean, not sure why, floors were filthy! Bathroom had hair trimmings in toilet, shower amenities were strewn on the floor, no breakfast, female staff lady was extremely rude to the male staff guy about making sure before we check out that he throughly check the room especially the floor and bed to make sure they aren’t messed up. Booked a king size bed but was told they didn’t have it so given two doubles. Room has roaches, place very run down. Only stay if absolutely necessary, that’s the only reason we were there

We like the location and got a good price. The hotel looks nice and is comfortable. The place is still doing some remodeling so there are some things that need work. There was a coffee machine and coffee packs and plastic cups, but no coffee cups that would hold HOT coffee. Our security door look was missing a screw so was not working. The only big problem was the pillows on the bed. While they are cute, they are not good for sleeping. They are extremely soft and do not hold your head up at all, we slept badly because of them. We would stay again, just need to remember to bring our own pillows. Their website said there would be breakfast, but there wasn't anything except coffee provided.

This hotel is lacking in amenities. The pool is being serviced, there is no breakfast offered, you have to call a number to get someone to come to the front desk. The hallway was not clean and had a musty odor. The bathroom in our room was dirty with mold and mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain, paint chips falling off the wall, stained tub, and a worn vanity that was not properly set in place.

didn’t sleep for two nights finally had to go to another hotel. Literally roaches were crawling out of the telephone and nightstand. I had to clean the bathroom just to use it, tub would not drain and neither would the sink. black mold around the air conditioner and in the ceiling, totally disgusting

Beware, when you see a sign that states, no morning refunds, run away. You've been warned by the hotel. Bed squeaked, dirty sheets. I didn't see the old snot bugger until the next morning, ugh. We purchased reservation on Expedia so did not see the warning sign in the lobby until checkout. Soles of our feet were black due to dirty floors. Rude Concierge.

This place is totally disgusting. The sheets on the beds were dirty & stained, the furniture was very nasty, the lamp shade was torn all to pieces & the floor did not look to have been swept. The room telephone & the clock were both disconnected.

Needs some updating. Really not worth the money for as much work that is needed at location. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Staff was friendly at check in which helps out tremendously when a place needs this much updating.

Just checked in after a long drive and needed a place for the night. Got in very late and there were guests being extremely loud and cursing in the lobby when we arrived at 2am. The hotel is in bad shape! The Rooms aren’t clean and the property is totally sketchy. We had no shampoo, conditioner, soap in the room and no towels! None! Not that I would use the shower if there were any! If I were Wyndham I would remove my name from this property! The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows are half the size of a normal pillow. We couldn’t get out of this property fast enough.
