Our frist main campground was Frisco Woods Campground in Frisco North Carolina. Huge campground with nice showers and pool. We had site B16 and B17 over looking the ocean inlet. Swimming at our site was great for us and the kids loved it. We rented kayaks and it's so shallow for a very long length. Our site however was windy...

We have been here numerous times. It can be very windy but its always a cool place to camp. Windsurfers are always fun to watch. Very busy in the summer but always awesome. We have even stayed in the winter when there wasn't a sole around. Peaceful. Going back in October!

Full hook up site with views of the ocean sound side. It has been absolutely beautiful. The breathtaking sunsets are awesome! Frisco woods campground offers WiFi but we were unable to connect. The camp sites are grassy and plenty wide for large fifth wheels and motorhomes that need 50 amp service. They have a nice pool area (did not use)...

We were here in the middle of August and had two campsites. We were tent camping, and luckily for us, we picked two campsites that were from away from the majority. We basically had 4 campsites to ourselves, and since none of the boundaries were listed and the map was not very accurate, we ended up taking up more than...

We booked site b14 on 7/31/15 for a stay starting 7/16/16. Had a 27' trailer with one slide at the time. When we were shopping for a new trailer I called and was told I'd be fine still in that site. Sent an email 6/29/16 using the link on their site again trying to clarify that we'd fit in the...

I read some many good reviews on this place that once I was there I thought I was at the wrong place. Don't get me wrong, the view is beautiful but the RV's are packed in like sardines which is typical of most campgrounds on the OBX. We paid a premium price for a waterfront view but unfortunately you back...

We spent four days here. We were lucky to get a spot right on the water which was fabulous! The grounds were well taken care of and the pool was refreshing. The laundry mat was subpar. One of the shower buildings was ok the other needs total renovation. This is a mecca for wind surfing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The...

my family of five and I stayed once again for a week at frisco woods the first week of July. this campground is always dependably clean and professional. everything works, the pool is clean, the showers are clean and hot, and the camp store has everything! my family tent camps and always books the waterfront sites. (book in January for...

A good, no frills camping experience. Stayed 3 days in a basic tent site, no electric hookup. On the positive side our sons loved the pool, the beach and the shop. The tent site was flat but had no shade so was very hot in the day. It was quite pricy for what we got. Overall we would go back.

In early May, the temps aren't yet up to desirable beach averages, but the sunsets are amazing. We stayed on site C20, its the outer most point. The wind blew so hard, the sound was filled with kite boarders from all over the world, I just wish the temps had reached 72. During our three day stay, the water line...
