Where do I begin?? Well, my company booked this for me and as I was driving in, I knew I’d have problems. If the sign is falling down/apart that’s usually a clear indication that they don’t take care of the rest of the property. There was mold growing on the curtains and in the mini fridge. Yes folks, apparently you CAN have mold inside a fridge. (See pictures) also, like many others, the office chair should have been thrown out YEARS ago along with many others on the property. I went down to the front desk to have my room changed but the person in front of me was trying to get his room changed as well and they were giving him a hard time so I didn’t bother. When I woke up this morning, surprise, surprise no hot shower. I have stayed in my fair share of low value budget hotels but this tops the charts. If I booked it myself, I’d have demanded my money back and went elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.…
Tried booking a room for 2 nights through website, and boy, I didn’t think I was in for the headache that came with it. Got through all the booking information, clicked confirm booking. Then the website took me straight to the same review booking page with a red box at the top saying “Can not process at this time. Please call (some 1-800 number) for more information, and please try again. When I saw this I instantly felt regret even booking through the website where I needed a room for 2 nights where I was on my mini vacation. All the surrounding hotels were booked completely up, so seeing this message wouldn’t you think as well that this hotel was booked up as well?? I looked to see if a payment had been took out of my account for the room by chance.. No payment taken out. Then I logged on to my email to see if my room had went through and to see if I my payment miraculously went through. No email, even waited 30 minutes to make sure I’d get a confirmation email letting me know my room was ready... Nope! So I did what any other person would do, go with another place for the next two nights (luckily I found a nice little lodge that had rooms available, so blessed to of been able to find the place that I did). The next evening (3/20) I saw to my surprise that I was being charged half of what I thought didn’t go through, talk about being p’d off! Called the hotel informing them what all went on, got nothing out of it, had to talk to the manager. The next morning (2/21), I called the choice hotels customer support service about what went on with their website, after all they were the ones who run the site since it did kick me off. After talking to them (which they were nice and understanding) sided with me and understood that it was a big misunderstanding. They then processed to call this Comfort Inn and ended up talking to Rick (the manager, which with the reviews on google have claimed that he’s very rude). Customer support then got back on the phone with me and claimed that it’s still policy where I hadn’t shown up that you have to pay and that they were so very sorry for what all that has happened with the experience I was given... Really?! Not getting an email notice saying that your payment went through and your room is ready and nothing in the slightest of even giving me a hint to where my payment had went through?? But hey, since the manager acted the way he did, showing that he doesn’t have any kind of sympathy to the customers (based not only on my review but others as well before mine on this site and the google review page as well), this is what I’m going to do. Hope he’s reading this, cause just know that not only will I go out of my way to pass up any Comfort Inn’s in the future and will be telling friends and family about my experience (I’m a huge traveler, visited all 50 states before I hit 30 and I’m 32 now), but I also won’t be using the Choice Hotel website for anymore bookings where this little stunt has happened. Hope this review helps anyone who’s about to book online, watch out!…
We stayed there last night. 96$ with tax. Wasn’t looking for five star on the way to the mountains..BUT The room smelled like mold/mildew. The bed was worn out and the desk chair (see pic) should have been thrown out years ago. Keep driving..
We were in town for a softball tournament and needed a place to stay for just one night. It was clean, and the room smelled decent. The bed was extremely comfortable, so there's that. The breakfast was actually more than I was expecting with all the COVID thing going on. You do have to take it up to your room, but I didn't mind doing that. Having some trays to carry everything, like coffee, juice, etc. would be nice. The room was larger than I expected, with a little office area off to the side. That was nice, because sometimes my husband wakes up early and he could go work on his computer without waking me up. One complaint, the water pressure is really low.
The first room we were in smelled really bad and had paint from the walls and ceiling chipping off. We asked for another room and the front counter person took care of us. The second room was ok. Somewhat clean. Just need to take a little extra time cleaning and TLC. Breakfast was ok. Eggs, mike and cereal, sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Will not stay here again. Will find another place to stay.
