Friendly staff. Probably 75% year round residents. The sites are cramped together and you can't access the water without going through somebody else's site. Overall, not a bad place to park your RV if you're going to be out during the day.

Disappointed with this campground. RV park for the elderly. The "river" was non-existent, the Wi-Fi is spotty (at best). The picnic tables were rotted, there is nothing to do with children. I sent them an email regarding this trip, They offered a full refund but changed their mind because they knew I was going to do a review of their... More

By now, we were well into our vacation. We had been through Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, back down to Tennessee and we set now in Franklin NC. This is the best spot we have seen. This trip was to cover a lot of ground visiting family ancestor gravesite and historical sites. Not long in... More

Enjoyed our stay here. It is mostly seasonal rentals. The people who run it couldn't have been any nicer. We decided we wanted to stay longer than our reservation and they took the time to call the people who had reserved the site after us to see what time they would be there so we could stay on the site... I booked this particular location because of all of the pictures on the website depicting all of the wonderful fishing opportunities steps from your door. Pictures of great fish caught, delicious fish fry's, and Pot Luck dinners. Also because they had cable TV, and because they DID NOT mention that they do not have cell service. They do have WiFi,... This is a wonderful RV park. We camped here the last week in October. The campground was in full fall colors. Our site was on the river. We had full service, plus wi fi and tv cable. The park is very quiet and has a large grassy area for the dogs. It has some folks who have permanent campers located... More

This is a family oriented park that is dog and people friendly. The showers are kept very clean as is all the grounds. It will be worth your time to stop here for a few days as it is situated close to The Highlands, Cherokee and many gem mining sites. If it's warm the kids can go rafting in the... More
