Half-way point to Central Ohio from Dunedin, Florida, cutting up through the Smoky Mountains instead of just blazing up I-75 once again. The room was exactly as expected and exactly why I choose Hampton Inns - they're consistent. I didn't even bother to read the reviews. Probably the first time I've stayed at a hotel and did not encounter another human. Not necessarily a bad thing during Covid. Used app to check in, got last room on first floor - was able to digitally key into back door. Used the wi-fi to order some pizza from Papa's, got some local brews at Ingles and settled in for the Buckeyes win near Clemson territory. In the morning, walked down to lobby - nobody in sight, again not a bad thing. They offered limited grab and go selections. We stayed at another Hampton that just had pre-made bags. I definitely like the selections better, probably less waste too! Great night sleep, would definitely stop here again.…
We were on a family road trip and needed a place for overnight hotel stay and so glad we chose Hampton Inn Franklin! We had no concerns and were impressed with the cleaning protocols. The hotel staff were also so welcoming and friendly. Also, such a beautiful area and Willy’s BBQ is so convenient with a short walk down the driveway. If ever in the area again we would not hesitate to return.
I loved everything about this place... well almost everything. The room was super clean and even smelled wonderful. The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows. The AC/Heat worked perfectly. Shower had WONDERFUL water pressure. One thing to note the shower head was so high, I barely could reach it to adjust it so if you are shorter than 5'6" you will need someone to help you adjust it. Towels were soft and fluffy. The lobby is small but very inviting. Great coffee available 24/7. The breakfast is currently VERY reduced. That is the only negative. Bagles, instant oatmeal, instant grits and prepacked boiled eggs is the full extend of the offer. There is OJ, plus coffee and tea. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (even when I left my key in the room and had to get another one). The fall decorations were up and they were absolutely gorgeous. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!…
Staff is very friendly. Cozy, beautiful entrance with a welcoming atmosphere. Room was clean. Not much of view from room to see the leaves changing. Easy access to main road to venture around Franklin and surrounding areas.
My wife and I visited Franklin to just visit somewhere new. We decided to stay here because we have good luck with Hampton Inn’s before. This time was no different. We had planned on staying only two nights, but ended up staying a third night to watch the town of Franklin’s 4th of July fireworks. The hotel seemed to be a few years old and the rooms were not huge, but we enjoyed our room. It was very quiet, clean, staff was very helpful! Due to COVID, they are not serving breakfast. However, they did provide sacked bags of food (banana, bottle of water, and a cinnamon cake). They also had packaged yogurt, packaged oatmeal, and grits that you could prepare for yourself. They also of course had coffee all during the day! They do have an outdoor pool, but again, due to the virus, it is not open. They have a fitness center that was also open. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in Franklin for the night.…
