Stayed here for two nights the previous weekend and it was fantastic. Decorations for Christmas were up and the home looked fabulous. The family that tends the home is kind and welcoming. Perfect stay.

My daughter plays travel softball and while our home in Virginia Beach is not actually that far from Elizabeth City, the drive back and forth two days in a row leaves a lot to be desired. Not wanting to check into a hotel where I would most likely be kept up all night from the noise that the teams tend...

Great location, wonderful rooms. The common area with pool and bar area with tv and recliners is a perfect place to relax. Great people, great place. What else can you say...stay here! Only one thing...the town is in a state of restructuring so if you are planning activities or food hopping, make sure what you see on the chamber web...

My husband & I are senior citizens who travel a lot. We stay at B&B's routinely-in fact we thought about having one for retirement. This is my first review ever. This Inn is immaculate and very welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous. The owners take time to give you a tour, house history, learn your interests, recommend places, make reservations-very personal attention....

They have a no pet policy which is fine. I find it interesting that they have four pets, two cats and two dogs. All of which shed and have dander, this isn't good for people with allergies. The hair and dander gets in the A/C system and on the furniture. So when a person with high animal allergies sees a...

We actually do not have a no pet policy. We have a limited pet policy. We allow pets in the off season in two of our 11 rooms, both of which are not in the Main Inn and have independent exits and entrances, if we are not busy. Our cats are outdoor cats exclusively, our two dogs only are in...

We enjoyed a wonderful overnight at Culpepper Inn, a stately mansion with well appointed comfortable room and great common spaces. Our inn keepers, Holly and Michael Audette, whose primary goal was to make us comfortable, were very gracious hosts who shared about the history of this beautiful home as well as the culture of the local area. We ended our...

My husband and I stayed for two nights, and I have to say the innkeepers were so sweet and kind the entire time. We were greeted with a smile, and a warm welcome. We stayed in the Euro room which was beautiful and very comfortable. The balcony was nice as well. It was a little too cold outside for us...

Being away from home while completing your education can be really hard at times. Holly was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was perfect, the grounds were beautiful as the weather warmed and the poolside lights shined beautifully at night. This was the 1st time I did not feel homesick and actually felt settled and like I was returning home...

From the moment we arrived we felt special and very welcomed like we were visiting family. Our room was very nice, clean and inviting and the food was very tasty. We would recommend this inn to anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy a nice relaxing retreat away from home.

This was our second visit to the Culpepper Inn in Elizabeth City, NC. We stayed in the Crown Room and found the accommodations to be great. The hospitality of the Innkeepers was very welcoming. It was only a one night visit. We'll stay longer next time.
