Traditional B&B in a beautifully remodeled vintage home ... rooms are well appointed and the inn keepers are charming ... short walk to downtown although some of the neighborhood in between is a little sketchy ... will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

This is a charming, small Inn and Debbie and Jim are wonderful hosts. I stayed for three nights and spent time reading and relaxing on a very rainy weekend. The room and front porch were wonderful places to hang out. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts attended to every detail, including having hot coffee ready early at my request.... More

This was the PERFECT place to relax and spend time with an old friend while on vacation in Durham! Debbie and Jim are wonderful hosts and I enjoyed talking with Debbie about local restaurants--she had many good recommendations. The breakfasts were amazing! My favorite was the pancakes with caramelized bananas. I also loved the overflowing bowl of fresh fruit and... More

My friend and I hadn't seen each other in four years. All we wanted was a peaceful place to catch up, and Old North Durham was absolutely perfect. Right away, I felt nurtured. Cookies and chocolates when you walk in the door. Water, Sprite, Coke, coffee, tea. A huge porch with bird feeders and beautiful plants. Quiet. Rocking chairs. We... More

The B&B is in a lovely house owned by Debbie and Jim, who made us feel welcome straight away. I was in town for my brother's graduation at Duke and the B&B does not hike its prices around graduation time like lots of the hotels in Durham. The breakfasts were huge! We had fruit salad, muffins, french toast with sausages,... More

My daughter and I stayed for three nights while attending graduation at Duke University. Debbie and Jim could not have been nicer. The Inn is beautiful with comfortable beds and rooms. We recently spent 2 nights at the Old North Durham Inn while we were in town visiting our daughter who lives only 1 block away. The inn was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and cozy. Both Debbie and her husband Jim were very welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious as were the cookies. We had a wonderful stay and will... More

What a wonderful visit! This B&B is run by professionals who know how to anticipate your every need....home baked cookies, wonderful robes, hot tea/coffee 24/7. Bed was so comfy, spotlessly clean all around, and the breakfasts were terrific! Glazed banana pancakes were just tops. Loved visiting with the innkeepers, too...such interesting people! I'll make it my home away from home... More
