Hotel is very poor example of Marriott brand! Unclean, maid service almost nonexistent, front desk disorganized, carpets nasty & ancient, dust on bed skirts, mgmt simply made excuses, absolutely worse hotel & patients visiting Durham to go to Duke medical or VA particularly beware! This hotel is not safe for healthy people much less patients. Unfortunately the week I was...

Staying here on a trip to take my son to watch Duke play basketball. Two things I need: clean room and comfortable bed. This hotel had both. Front staff was also friendly. 5 minute drive to Duke's campus.

Nothing different here to the usual formula of Courtyard and similar chains. You know what you are going to get and they don't disappoint - clean rooms, comfy bed, relatively quiet location. All the carpets in the rooms were in the process of being cleaned even though they looked relatively new. This one had a small 'cafe' where you could...

This was a two night stay for business at Duke University Hospital. The location of the hotel is great for travel back and forth to Duke - just a few miles away. The price is much better than the downtown hotels and parking is free. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The Bistro in the hotel...

Only stayed one night as i was passing through town. Great that it is right off of the highway. Staff was very friendly. Room was fine, but seemed like it was old yet redone. Good size though. The elevator was a bit odd, i had to push the button for the second floor a million times before it worked. Sink...

We stayed here for the birth of our first grandson happening at Duke University. We originally had planned to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn planning to book a week out for a scheduled c-sections. However, babies don't follow schedules and he decided to come 2 weeks early. When we went to book the Hilton the price went up considerably....

Stayed here for two nights, visiting family. The hotel is your basic Courtyard Marriott. We were on the 3rd Floor in Room 353. 1 King bed with a sofa bed. The room overlooked the outdoor pool. Room was located near the end of the hall however there is a Elevator at each end of the hotel. Hotel was really clean...

We were visiting Duke for parents weekend and the Courtyard was very conveniently located. The rooms were standard size and comfortable. My big complaint was the "Bistro". It took me 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee (they serve Starbucks so every person order some fancy latte) and the breakfast "Healthy Sandwich" was anything but healthy....full of grease....
