We just stayed overnight. It’s conveniently located off the freeway, the room was clean, and the bed comfortable. We had a nice quiet stay. Only saw a couple of other people there. The breakfast was decent with nice eating area. The furniture and carpet are...More
Room was clean so wad the bedding overall good place. Bed was comfy tv good size. Wife told me to mention no ledge in shower to shave legs. Good place to eat next door. Close to highway. Staff friendly.
Laurie did a great job of getting us checked in. We had two rooms and they were perfect. Very clean. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the rooms. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Second floor was quiet. Breakfast room off the lobby.

I was only there for a couple of days of house-hunting. Lake Norman is huge; I believe you might be able to rent boats, go on guided lake tours, swim, etc. There's a big state park adjacent to it for hiking. Best to contact the hotel or Google Lake Norman to see what you find. Many very good restaurants less than 10 minutes away in the "new town" kind of developments. Davidson is a cute old college town, and Charlotte is a short drive to the south.
