Clean, clean, stayed in a Huge double king Room with 12' ceilings!! Afordable too!... They have much smaller rooms too if you don't need that kind of space. Centrally located downtown Cherokee right across from the oconalufty river. We went on the oconalufty river trail beautiful walk. Closest hotel to the world's best mountain bike trail. You can actually walk to it's so close!... Outdoor breakfast lounge is beautiful and relaxing to stare at the mountain And listen to beautiful music. They will give you a delicious breakfast in the morning satisfying and filling. I love the breakfast tortilla. From the hotel just park and walk. You can walk to the park. Picnic and fish...(beautifully lit up at night.) You can walk to the store village across the street. The smoky mountain National Park is just 2 miles to the entrance. Walk to "Un to these Hills" coliseum and working Indian village. the casino is only one mile from Rolling Hills Lodge. Great place CLEAN comfy and cozy. Everyone there was more than helpful and wanted to make sure you were happy. Peaceful and Quiet nights! We saw 6 huge elk in front of our Room!!! The Indians start coming out around check out time you will hear dancing and Indian singing across the street. Cool! Great reservation experience. This hotel has taken extra covid precautions And methods of sterilization after each stay. Your temperature will be taking when you arrive! No pets allowed! Thank goodness! This place has been such a delight to stay at so clean happy service close to everything Satisfying homemade breakfast! Definitely "will come back" to Rolling Hills Lodge next time in Cherokee! .... No more racking my brain to figure out where it is stay. CHEROKEE is a much better place to stay then Gatlinburg!!!! Rolling Hills Lodge is just 2 miles from the great smoky mountain National Park with so much sightseeing! And only 40 minutes from Gatlinburg by going through the park. They don't have that 1 800 number anymore like Trip Advisor shows just look up the local number it's 8284976801

Went in having read the great reviews expecting a nice, clean hotel and a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was dirty, dusty, and had stained sheets, with a strong musty stale perfume odor. Was not able to get reassigned to a more updated, clean room, but the hotel did offer approximately 18% cash back and a bottle of febreeze. Bathroom was updated and decently clean. Location is great but for $150+, I expect the room to not be dirty.

Experienced bed bugs the first night of my stay (Room 5). Bites all over. Housekeeping very helpful in replacing all bedding for my second night at Rolling Hills; however, I didn't dare sleep under the covers. At checkout, the female manager/asst manager disputed my claim despite my obvious bite marks, suggesting that I was experiencing a "negative reaction" to something else in my environment. Held my tongue, but needed to post this
