Reserved a three bedroom presidential. The room was very spacious with high-end appliances and a large dining area. The three bedrooms were comfortable, two upstairs and one at ground level. The second story bathroom was huge. There was a full bathroom with a tub and shower for the first level bedroom. Another half bath was available, too. We used the indoor gas fireplace frequently in the middle of January. We used the outdoor fireplace and gas grill, too. Compared to other Bluegreen resorts, there aren’t as many activities on-site at Club Lodges. However, if you work out or play tennis, the facilities are adequate to continue your fitness. If you lift heavy, not possible, But if you are creative, you can get your training completed. Tennis courts available, too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was missing an item, and after notifying the check in desk, they brought the item to our place, which is over one mile away.…
We rented the unit at Trillium to spend time together and relax during the Thanksgiving break. The unit was clean, beautiful, and well-stocked for families. It was very spacious and served our family of 3 teenagers and 3 adults well. The staff was kind, attentive, and helpful when we had some issues with the TV and fireplace. We loved the location as it was 15 minutes from Cashiers which has shopping, a stocked community pond, and a great grocery store. The resort is 10 minutes from horseback rides, 10 from Christmas tree farms, 30 minutes from public parks for trout fishing, and close to hiking trails. Although the resort itself was closed for the season, the grounds were well-maintained, and we walked all over the area where we stayed. Be prepared to drive when you want to do something, but understand when you get back there is a wonderful place to rest and relax. The golf course is challenging and beautiful if you like golf. It is close to Lake Glenville, but NOT on the lake. We loved it and will be back!…
I 've been a Bluegreen Vacation Club owner for about 15 years. I 've been to several of the well known locations and the staff here is hands down the best I ve ever encountered. BRAVO - personable and accommodating! I couldn't given this resort a 5th star because there is no indoor pool on the property - the staff did arrange for pool passes for us nearby (I told you they're awesome). This resort is a mountain property. Be prepared to drive winding curves to get here for sure (beware motion sickness!). There's a steep incline to get to the Club Lodges for Bluegreen as well. I'm not a golfer but a well maintained course is own property. The grounds crew is a bit rude to be running equipment prior to 9 AM in my opinion. One person came on our patio area with out asking as well. (sorry I am owner - I paid for this property use). Presidential suites are very nice - though no jacuzzi tub. Thats a design miss. These units get a personal gas grill on the patio. Other units have a picnic area with plenty of grills to share. Be ready to drive a bit to get to anything you might need. Adventurous folks can drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge ,etc which is about 2 hours away (85 miles but largely curvey mountain roads) Great place to unplug and just get away while still having some nice comforts and great wifi.…
New mostly duplex units (less than 5 years old) with balconies. Wonderful location in the middle of some nice curvy mountain roads. Motorcycle paradise if you like the twisties. Quaint mountain towns all around the area with great food and shopping. Golf course looks very nice, although I don't golf.
