My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our birthday/anniversary getaway weekend at the Hamilton Scot Inn. Eric Hoke is a master innkeeper. He built this hidden gem and now manages it with the help of Gracie, his able four legged assistant. Breakfast is cooked to order - a first for us. An ideal location for weddings and special events. We will... More

Eric has a beautiful house and property just outside of the city. Although, only a few minutes away from anything you'd be interested it. From the Hamilton Scot Inn we spent the day doodling around in Cary, and then had a great dinner at the Fearrington House.

We were graciously received by Eric when we dropped by to inquire about this beautiful property. We had heard about this Bed and Breakfast and we wanted to check it out for friends and family for the future. Eric was so welcoming, immediately asking us in to show us his beautiful palace, while offering us a glass of wine. Each... More

We had our Christmas here at the Inn, Eric could not do enough for us. On our arrival we were greeted with a very excited hello and a wine by the open fire. Once we had settled Eric gave us the grand tour of his labour of love, his home and it is Eric's home and is exceptional in all... More

The innkeeper, Eric, and his staff, Kyla and her daughter, were amazing hosts. They were there to answer any questions we had and be as social as we wanted to be, but left us to relax and enjoy the house, too. The atmosphere at the Hamilton Scot Inn was wonderful – it was everything one could hope for – tranquil,... More

First of all, Hamilton Scot Inn is in an incredible setting; 14 beautiful acres that is completely private, quiet and peaceful. It is very close to the city yet as you are driving, suddenly you are in a country like area and the winding , tree lined driveway opens up to this large French chateau house. There are 4 suites... This place is awesome!!! The bride and her bridesmaids, mother and sisters were all made so welcome. The bride had pre-wedding jitters the night before so she was invited to sit in the kitchen with the hosts for a calming drink and conversation.
