This is a motel with breakfast. Maybe we had an off stay but we didn't have wifi, our A/C put out hot air so we had to open the window and the fan in the bathroom that is programmed to turn on automatically when you walk into the bathroom was incredibly annoying. Breakfast was decent but this is not a traditional B&B and over priced
Cape Hatteras Bed & Breakfast is an amazing cozy B&B. Inn keeper Robin is such a down to earth pleasant woman who kept us Smiling our entire stay. The Biscuits & Turkey gravy was a hit and if you still have room in your tummy. Robin will gladly make you anything on the menu for that morning. We loved it so much We booked another stay for this upcoming Labor Day weekend. We can’t wait!!!! Lisa & Sean Sullivan
What a lovely place to stay at. This was the first vacation my husband and I have taken in 12 years, with no children, and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Robin was the best host and her breakfast was AMAZING!! She went out of her way to make you feel like you were old friends, and not just guests in her home. She has worked hard to make her guests feel comfortable during this Covid epidemic and I couldnt be more thankful! We stayed in Gloria, which is on the 1st floor. The bed is a king, and the room has a mini fridge and small coffee maker. When you walk out your room, and look outside you can see the top of the lighthouse, which is about 1/2 mile walk down the beach. I can guarantee that if you decide to stay here, with Robin, you will not be disappointed! Thanks Robin for making our stay amazing!! Cant wait to come back again!! …
My husband and I stayed at the Cape Hatteras Bed and Breakfast midweek this July. We actually flew into the cute Billy Mitchell airport several miles down the road and got an easy and friendly pick up by ‘Island Hopper’. Our room and bath were clean, pleasantly appointed and had a comfy king bed. The Inn offered bikes (we rode to the Lighthouse and beyond as well as to dinner), beach chairs and umbrellas which we used gratefully. But best of all is Robin! She is the heart and soul of the whole operation! What a sweet lady! Great breakfast chef and just a very unpretentious vivacious hostess!
My wife and I just spent a week at the Cape Hatteras Bed & Breakfast. It was wonderful. The “Charlie” room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was tasty. We even were treated to baked goods each day. But, the primary reason I would return was the innkeeper, Robin. She was hospitable and accommodating. Her extra efforts to make our stay a pleasant one will make our future lodging choice on Cape Hatteras an easy one.
