We have stayed at the Fryemont Inn three times, with a fourth mini vacation already booked. We enjoy rafting and the Nantahala Outdoor Center is close by. Meals (breakfast and supper) are included with the room rate, so stays are not that expensive if you figure that in. To

We were at the Fryemont Inn several years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place and the area. The large front porch with it's view of the mountains is a great way to pass time in a very relaxed way. Are going there this weekend and are very excited about the place. The

It's usually in the 50s and 60s in early March, and in the 60s and low 70s in late March. I'd contact the outdoor venues you'd like to do (like ziplining or whitewater rafting, both of which are cool), to see if they are open for the season in March.

The train station is 5 minutes from the lodge. Bryson City is very small, so if anything is within the city, it won't take long to get to it. I don't know anything about the ballooning events. You might contact the lodge and see if they know where tickets can be purchased.

Is there wi-fi available on the property?
Hello. The cabins and balcony rooms have wifi. There is wifi available in the lobby of the lodge. Wifi is not available in all the rooms; but this IS an experience of being free from the short chain.
