We LOVED our short stay here. The in-house restaurant is AMAZING. The rooms are so unique and each one has so much character. The common area has an enormous fireplace, cozy lounging, tables with games, and so much more. The front porch has breathtaking views...More

If you love antiques and bed and breakfast then you will love this place. The added plus is dining. Staying here is wonderful but when you add a great breakfast and a fantastic dinner you just can't ask for anything more. Highly recommended.

the weather in mid march will probably not be conducive to outdoor activities. it tends to be cool and rainy plus the leaves are not back on the trees yet late april or may would be better

The train station is 5 minutes from the lodge. Bryson City is very small, so if anything is within the city, it won't take long to get to it. I don't know anything about the ballooning events. You might contact the lodge... More
