My husband and enjoyed three nights at the Folkestone Inn. Steve and Eva are fantastic and the Inn is charming. Breakfast is delicious. No need for lunch after one of Eva's delicious breakfast! We needed much needed R&R after my husband lost his mother and our son got married within a week of each other. One wonderful thing is no...

We recently experienced two wonderfully relaxing days at the Folkestone Inn, an established, old-style B & B getaway. Situated minutes from downtown Bryson City in a pastoral setting at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Inn and its owners--Steve and Eva--are warm, inviting, and down-to-earth. The Inn is near numerous outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, rafting), and each cozy...

Spent three days here last October. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Each day a different delicious breakfast was served at 9am, which set us up for the day. The property is in delightful gardens in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Love this place. I think this is our 6th stay over the last 15 years. Great food! I'd prefer a mountain view especially being in picturesque North Carolina, but very pretty landscaping and I like watching the wild turkeys in the adjoining farm field.

Folkestone Inn is a very nice place to stay near Smokey Mountain National Park. We were in Boats & Paddles for two nights in October. The room was very clean and nice with a balcony overlooking the front yard. The breakfast was good and everyone was very friendly. Even the cats would come around to see us out on the...

This is the B&B by which I measure all others. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, pleasant surroundings, and GREAT breakfasts! The innkeepers are experienced and friendly. The Great Smokey Mountain National Park is just down the road. It is everything we are looking for.

We came here on a weekend trip to spend some time in the mountains before heading on to Asheville. We were slightly disappointed when we were told that the innskeeper/cook had a family emergency and would not be able to make us breakfast for two mornings of our stay. We were very grateful that we were notified of this and...

My wife is the only cook. The "family emergency" that these guests mentioned was that her mother had just passed away and she had to fly back to Texas. In order to compensate for no breakfast at the inn, we gave ALL the guests that were here a $10 PER DAY discount (of which everyone was notified about this at...

Wow...what a perfect escape into the Great Smokies. The wonderful owners go above & beyond to accommodate your every need or want. The Inn itself is so charming with no detail overlooked & every space is impeccably clean. We loved relaxing with a book & glass of wine by the fireplace (as often as we wanted), or stargazing at night...
