I was visiting the area for a wedding, and this was a great place to stay and pamper beforehand. The spa was excellent and would highly recommend having as many treatments as you can squeeze in, and the views in the Cabana were perfect. I enjoyed the happy hour they offer with wine and snacks.

I was really hoping to give a good review of this lodge but.... we had a wonderful time riding the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Train, we stop for dinner which put us in late for the check in... so we picked up our key at the desk and headed to our room. We were unprepared for the lack of amenities,...

Everyone at Lakeview was extremely nice from checkin to checkout. We loved the seclusion and quiet. Afternoon wine & cheese and morning continental breakfast was everything we expected. Just as advertised. Lots of things done right. BUT...Our room was just not close to expectations. These are very old cabins that have been renovated. Full size beds (small for our preference)....

My wife and I stayed here as refugees fleeing hurricane Matthew. What a pleasant surprise. The morning breakfasts and the afternoon wine with other guests enabled us to make new friends. Our suite could have used an update but otherwise did not distract from out stay. We loved the place.

Really loved it here. The staff was so friendly and truly made me feel at home. Yoga offered most mornings for just $15. Cute little spa on site. Bamboo massage was great (deep tissue). Also got the Pumpkin Enzyme Facial- it was ok. I guess I like/am used to the steam and extraction which was not a part of this...

What a gem! Relaxing and beautiful. The staff and the host were amazing. Great little get away to unwind and be ZEN. Loved the Tree Soaking cabana, a must for any stay. Amazing massage also. Close to good hiking.

Myself and 5 others stayed at Lakeview at Fontana this past weekend, and had a wonderful experience. It was a bachelorette weekend full of fun and relaxation. The bride got a hot stone massage by Tiffany and another person in the party did the fabulous treetop bath soak. Both said "was a truly amazing experience". We booked 2 two bedroom...

As so many other reviews said before mine, the only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer. Well and that the pictures and reviews can't do it justice. My wife made reservations a week after I had proposed to her. So I had plenty of time to look up a lot of things and nothing could have prepared...

This is a great resort to "unplug". Our room and bed were very comfortable! They offer a French press coffee service with pastry in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had. We enjoyed booking the mountaintop tub experience which was lovely, although the mosquitos were ferocious! If you...

The four of us met up at Lakeview in early Aug for a "girls weekend getaway." This was my third visit to Lakeview and I had recommended it. It is a perfect place if you want casual, not luxurious accommodations in a beautiful setting with a GREAT spa and close proximity to hiking, kayaking, Smokies. Our unit (#2) had some...
