We stopped by Hemlock Inn on our Christmas trip from Raleigh to Nashville, TN. The inn was as warm and accommodating as I remembered. Innkeepers, Mort and Lainey, are so gracious. The meals were wonderful and the service was perfect. The room was so comfortable and we rested well.

What a wonderful place, it was hard to leave. We were warmly welcomed, stayed in a beautiful cabin, and woke up to a delicious family style breakfast. The best part was the community room with coffee brewing in the morning, a roaring fire, and a beautiful view. We could not have asking for anything more - thank you hemlock inn!

The Hemlock Inn in Bryson City is the "perfect" mountain getaway. My wife and I just spent the weekend there with my daughter, grandchildren, and mom, can't wait to go back. About 5 minutes out of Bryson City, the Hemlock Inn sits on top of a mountain and offers breathtaking views. The owners, Lainey and Mort Whites family has owned...

I find myself wondering if people leaving the amazing reviews have ever traveled anywhere. I am also amazed that this place can charge the rates they do. I stayed here after Thanksgiving. I had a dirty comforter, no hot water, and no heat in my room. We also found 3 big black spiders. I was in room 8 which was...

Nestle up on a hill, this "older" Inn was perfect for our overnight stay for the Polar Express in Bryson City. The rooms were clean but could use some updating. The dinner and breakfast, served family style, were delicious and plentiful. Staff was very friendly.

This was our second visit to the Hemlock Inn -- this time to enjoy the Smokies in their Fall glory with our daughter and son-in-law. We stayed this time in two rooms with back balconies that faced the deep, picturesque woods. The king-sized beds were comfortable and the bathroom Fifties efficient. The knotty pine walls in the rooms and the...

My wife and me were delighted to get a night at the Hemlock Inn. The quite and peace of the place were just what we needed to start our weekend. We had the privilege to be placed by Mort for our meals with a family that had been coming to the Hemlock Inn since 1972. This was our first time....

We had some last minute changes to our Labor Day weekend plans, but fortunately were able to book Saturday and Sunday nights at the Hemlock Inn on relatively short notice. We were just blown away by the beauty and charm of this rustic property. The staff could not have been nicer, our room was clean, and the food was delicious...

My wife and I had dinner there and had s delightful experience. The staff was very welcoming and the fellow diners were very friendly. The family style dinner is great as you can load up on your favorite dinner item. Mine was the country ham, for sure. The surroundings of the mountains were beautiful. A great evening at a very...

My daughter and one son joined me for a few days. We got a two suite. We had a cute outside patio. We had 2 full bedrooms with king beds. 1 room also had a sofa bed. Each room had it's own full bath. The room was comfortable. Carpet looked new. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Some of...
