We stayed at the Inn for one night in a king room that faces the street. The whole place has a very cozy feel. Low lights, fireplaces, old antique structure and furniture. We loved our room which had its own fireplace and very large deck. We took advantage of the amenities which included a free wine and appetizer social time...

We stayed in the Wisteria Room, with a welcomed fireplace & large deck. Too cold to fully enjoy the deck but wonderful anyway. Cozy lobby sitting area with great cooked-to-order free breakfast & in the afternoon, complimentary wine & appetizers. Nice touch. Friendly staff. Would definitely return.

We stayed at the inn over New Year's this past year. The inn itself is an old building that has been renovated into a wonderful lodging. The flagstone floors are beautiful and the decor, decorated for Christmas, was excellent. Our room was on the third floor, tucked under the eaves, and was very comfortable. The attached bath was spacious and...

We returned to the Inn at Ragged Gardens for a second New Year's getaway weekend. Staying in the Willow bough suite, we enjoyed a cozy comfort of a large suite of rooms with fireplace in sitting room and large bath, balcony, kingsized comfortable bed with loads of privacy. Breakfast is served in a light bathed dining room and evening wine...

Stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. Parking in Blowing Rock is a real problem but staying here parking no problem. Easy walk of less than two blocks to middle of downtown and park to see Santa and all the shops. For number of people staying at inn it was amazingly quiet. Nice fireplace in common area and in bedroom, nice deck from...

Wonderful rooms & a 5-star restaurant to boot. Fall & Spring are the best times. Fireplaces, near botanical gardens & great food. We didn't want to move off the patio! Located in the village so you have everything within a short walk. Homemade banana cream pie w/a a cup of local coffee, it must be like heaven should be...

My wife and I stayed ten years ago, and are back for a repeat! It's still quaint and rustic, but more of a hotel now, not a B&B. The restaurant takes over late afternoon, so dont expect an intamite experience. You share with MANY people there for dinner. Still a nice stay, but make sure you have the right expectations.

The Inn only has 12 rooms, I think. All differently laid out and appointed. It has two upper level front rooms with rooftop porches out the bedroom door. This is especially neat in summer and fall when the Inn and its restaurant owner have a band of some sort on the lawn every Friday night (weather permitting). Instead of mingling...

The Inn at Ragged Gardens certainly has gardens, but they are lush, lovely and riotous rather than ragged. This pretty old inn with its collection of rooms, suites and cottages is our favorite place to stay in the resort village of Blowing Rock, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Inn is right downtown, a half-block from the village park...
