My husband & I have been staying at the Alpine Village Inn twice a year for the past several years. We go in the spring, and then again in the fall. We wouldn't plan on staying anywhere else. Charles & Catherine, the owners, are super nice people. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean, neat, and cozy. They...

Our annual trip to see the foliage in the Blue Ridge mountains was a much needed escape. We chose to stay at the Alpine Village Inn in the town of Blowing Rock. The Innkeepers, Katherine and Charles Smid make our stay all the more enjoyable with their gracious hospitaliy, clean furnished rooms, and friendly demeanour. They are knowledgable about directions...

Have stayed here a few different times over the past few years and was told cheaper rate when booking; at check out was told higher price to pay. This happened on two different occasions. When it was called to the attention of the man that runs the place he was extremely defensive and rude. Tried calling to his attention that...

We stayed two nights. Great location in Blowing Rock. Very close (within walking distance of Main Street). Very close to many restraunts and shops but still in a quiet area. The inn was very clean and the owners are so nice. Great place to stay. Would highly recommend staying at this Inn.

We have stayed here before but failed to write a review. If you are looking a nice place to stay that is within walking distance to downtown this is it. The rooms are neatly decorated and are extremely clean. Could not find any nicer people that operate this home away from home. We will return again next year on our...

Great location right off of main strip in Blowing Rock. Safe area, parking was well lit, and door had deadbolt. Room was VERY small (12'x14') and had a heavy musky/aged smell. Bathroom is very tiny. Bathroom used tan towels, which worries me - hotels use white towels so they can add high heat & chlorine to properly sanitize them. Parking...

Typical of most of the motels in Blowing Rock.Older type property but this does not detract from the quality of the prioduct.Very clean room and well maintained grounds. In the centre of town with restaurants and shops within walking distance.Only downside could be that the rooms and bathrooms may be on the small side for some people,Would recommend.

I can not emphasize enough how clean and how well maintained this motel and the grounds look. The property is typical of many of the hotels/motels/B&B's of Blowing Rock-in one word-OLD. I knew that and knew not to expect a boutique style hotel. The most important thing for my husband and I was a dog friendly (and honestly 100% dog...

We've been back to the Blowing Rock area a few times and have always stayed here. The rooms have never disappointed us. The owners are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cozy. Admittedly the bathrooms are small and some people might take issue with that, but we've never had a problem.

We recently stayed at the Alpine Village Inn for 3 nights. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms with a king bed. The room was small, but decorated with beautiful antiques. The bathroom was newly remodeled, featuring a bathtub with jets. The innkeepers, Katherine & Charles, were delightful and very helpful. The lawn and landscaping were so beautiful and...
