My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Arbor house inn. The home is very inviting. Our room was very spacious and clean, and most importantly, the bed was very comfortable! I really appreciated having access to the Butler's pantry that was fully stocked with water and a variety of teas. Jim greeted us and made...

We were looking for a two-day respite and decided to 'discover' Black Mountain. We made reservations at Arbor House based on reviews. The B&B is located on a small lake; and, as you can see from pictures taken from across the pond, the house and landscaping are beautiful, even in winter. Teresa, the gracious owner, after asking for preferences, provided...

Our stay was wonderful. Jim and Theresa were great hosts. The breakfasts were awesome. We stayed in the High Windy. Quiet, great shower and bathroom - very comfortable. We came and went as we pleased. The butler's pantry was well stocked. We could not have enjoyed it more.

My husband and I stayed at Arbor House for two nights in the Lookout Suite. The location of this bed and breakfast is great for getting away from it all while being central to Black Mountain. We absolutely loved the Lookout Suite and it's wonderful view and balcony overlooking the water/mountains. Our room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed and...

As beautiful as the photos are, they don't really do it justice; Arbor House is a truly lovely space to lay your head and spend your time. Theresa and Jim run their B&B with care, sharing stories and greeting their guests as friends. Theresa is both accommodating and caring—a consummate professional in hospitality and someone who really cares about her...

Now I see why you are in journalism. What a beautiful review. As always, we humbly appreciate our guests who give us an extra boost. Jim really did like getting creative with your breakfast. This is the first time we tried Portabello mushrooms with ground sausage and avacado puree. It tasted great to us and so glad you liked it....

It was such a joy to have you here for Christmas. It felt like you were part of the family while you were at Arbor House, and felt a bit sad when you left. We really enjoyed our chocolates and presents from your country. We rarely get to know our guests so well and enjoyed the lighthearted and enlightening conversations....

It was a brief stay, but it was nice to have you and your friends stay with us and chat for a while. We had a cold snap this past week and was really wanting to be south. It is slowly warming back up to normal winter temps. Thank you so much for your recommendation. I was just at a...

OMG...I really wanted your expert opinion since you said you tasted the best bacon in Asheville. If I would have had my head together, I would have made some on the side for you to try.
