By far one of the best Bed and Breakfast locations we have visited. The service, food and lodging was first class at all levels..... We strongly recommend the place if traveling to Asheville or any any surrounding areas....

We spent two weekends in a row at Red Rocker. Had a wonderful time and the food was excellent. Desserts are all made on site by Jenny and are awesome--coconut cake to die for!!! Sat on the porch rockers and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown shopping in Black Mountain.

Hi Andrea! We so appreciate you taking the time to write a review. There is so much more to The Red Rocker Inn than the rooms, so I'm glad you enjoyed the porch and delightful neighborhood. Have you had a chance to sit around the fire pit in the yard under the pine trees? That's a favorite gathering spot too....

We stayed in the Appalachian room on the 2nd floor. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable and the staff was super accommodating to our group's crazy arrival times. Really though, the dinner is what took our stay to the 5star zone. We are all from the deep south, and we all agreed that the chicken and waffles were seriously...

The innkeepers are incredibly welcoming and appear do all they can for each guest. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom also was large. The quality bath and bed linens were enjoyable, and the bed was very comfortable. There are enough public places both inside and outside to be able to enjoy quiet time. From the first inquiry...

We have been to the Red Rocker many times but this time has been the best yet! The inn keepers Jenny and Doug are wonderful and their wonderful family help to keep things going right along side them. There is always someone around if you need something but you don't feel like they hover over you. It is wonderful sitting...

My husband and I had only one night to stay at the Red Rocker Inn but wish we had more! The front porch welcomes you with, yes, red rocking chairs and a porch swing! We checked in at 2:00 (earlier than most) and had a snack of homemade cookies. Soft drinks and water always available too. This gave us the...

The front porch and front area are also very nice. The owners were helpful and available. The inn is very conveniently located. We had only a...

14 members of my family met here and had an absolutely marvelous time! We all loved our rooms, and found the service to be terrific. There was a small room right beside the living room where we gathered both nights, and it was such a wonderful experience. Breakfast is unbelievable! There is a buffet, with one egg dish featured per...
