We had not been to Red Rocker in several years but we were NOT disappointed! The renovations are quite nice and very comfy and accommodating. As always, Doug and Jenny were the extraordinary host and hostess. It is truly a home away from home with more amenities than you can imagine. They are available whenever and for whatever you might...

Had a fantastic pot roast dinner last night in this charming 1896 bed and breakfast. Went with a friend who has been here many times to eat and he was right - its outstanding! This is a family owned and operated B&b. It's situated in a lovely neighborhood in Black Mountain. Totally charming.

Let me state up front that I have been an enthusiastic Red Rocker Inn patron for the last 20 years, the last 10 of which have been run by the meticulous, do-it-all-well innkeeper owners Jenny and Doug. Everything shows attention to detail from their 99.5 sanitary rating, to the charming 17 themed rooms, to their delicious southern style meals. The...

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We stayed on the 3rd floor in Elizabeth's Attic. My wife especially enjoyed the larger room. We arrived on a Monday and I explored many other rooms. All were very nice! The food at the restaurant was wonderful. For supper, I got the salmon cakes special; very good....

My husband and I arrived at Red Rocker Inn on one of the coldest days of the seasons. The Inn had the fireplaces going and the rooms were nice and cozy. The owners were extremely friendly and allowed me to explore the B and B. The Inn has 17 rooms. We stayed in the only King room (music) on the...

We highly recommend a visit to the Red Rocker Inn. We enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as breakfast at the inn. Both meals were superb with melt in your mouth biscuits, outstanding entrees, and out of this world desserts with dinner. The inn owners take the time to explain all facets of the inn and make you feel right...

The rooms in the house were perfect, as was the restaurant. I loved the wood floors and the old- timey claw foot bathtub. The weatherwas quite dreary and rainy, but my daughter found a cozy nook to curl into and read her book. It was such a relief to be able to walk downstairs and have the most amazingly fabulous...

We stayed at the Red Rocker Inn on our most recent trip to the Asheville, NC, area. It is a very pretty, homey place. The proprietors made us feel right at home. They have a restaurant, too. Which is worth visiting, the food is delicious. Our breakfast was buffet style and it was wonderful. Everything I tried, I liked. Best...
