We stayed here for an anniversary trip and had a great time. We reserved the Artist's Loft, which was basically the entire top floor of the home. It was accessed through a staircase which had a really unique horizontal door in the floor of the room. It was very spacious and was an amazing experience. The home has no air-conditioning,...

We made a short 1 night visit to Black Mountain and stayed at this Inn. This was our second visit. Beautiful old home with lots of history. We stayed in the Loft, neat trap door for privacy! We even took our 2 dogs. Excellent breakfast and June, the owner is a great hostess. Look forward to our next visit.

One of the main reasons I chose this location was because I could stay for only one night - many places require you to stay at least two. Supposedly "haunted," this is a super cool place for folks who enjoy the mystery inherent with "old stuff." We stayed in the Peter room. Not a lot to write home about -...

My husband and I were visiting Asheville for a long weekend and wanted to stay in a B&B but didn't want to pay the higher price for a room closer to Asheville. The Black Mountain Inn was the perfect choice! A short drive to downtown Asheville, this B&B is a charming mountain inn with beautifully decorated rooms that take you...

I longed for the comfort of the familiar room with its six foot long clawfoot bathtub and my very own wood-stove right outside the door.I wanted to re-visit the old sacred place where pieces of my soul lingered. Many hours had been spent with my feet propped on the old wood-stove as I lazily devoured books with great pleasure. I...

My husband and I stayed in the upstairs loft, and it was wonderful. It used to be the painting studio back when this was an artist's colony, so it has LOTS of windows you can open to enjoy the mountain breezes. It's a huge space and decorated in funky antique furniture...with a soft, comfortable queen-sized bed. Also there's a mini...

Couldn't be happier with the experience, felt at home and very cared for. The Inn keeper went out of her way to accommodate my wife and I. Classic Bed and Breakfast experience. Our honeymoon memories will be cherished! Thank you from The Alexanders.

Once again I have visited this old Victorian BB. I had the lovely Emili room which has windows over looking the front. Lovely sunshine beating in the room. Lovely large tub with a great French shower. The Inn is dressed for the holiday. Smell of fresh cooking cookies throughout the house. Nice added touch is the microwave and hot water...

If you want a chain Motel with a TV and AC this is not your place. The house was built in 1838 and expectations should accommodate this fact. My wife and I love these type of inns and this one did not disappoint. From the creaky stairs to the musty aroma, the inn is satisfied our expectations. We stayed in...

My colleague made reservations for both of us to have separate rooms for a special price. Upon arrival the front desk attendant could not get his head wrapped around assigning a separate name & rewards # to my reservation? Than we did not get the king size bed rooms we requested in our reservation? Upon check out I I was...
