Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

A new favorite, it's definitely one of the nicest stays we've ever had. Our second-floor waterview room was lovely, clean, and very spacious. The bedding was very comfy, with good quality linens. We loved having a private deck and also having a continental breakfast brought to the room. The inn is within easy walking distance to several good restaurants, and parking is free and ample. The inn offers the rare combination of charm, value, location, and amenities. The owners and staff really show their effort in providing guests with hospitality!

We’ve been doing day trips to Beaufort over the years, but this time we decided to stay. Booked online through their web site with no problems. Upon arrival, there was an envelope with our name on it. Had everything we needed … keys, parking pass, room info. Very easy process for check in. The inn is right near the water and all the shops and restaurants. We parked our car in their parking lots and walked everywhere. Our room was truly delightful. It had a window seating area to lookout upon the boats docked and the water. Beds were comfortable and special props to Beth at the front desk. She helped us on two issues and got them resolved quickly. It was a nice one-night getaway for us. Will definitely consider coming back and highly recommend to others.

Room Tip: We steer clear of Beaufort during the summer months. Very crowded and parking is not easy.

We really enjoyed our Christmas getaway at the Inlet Inn. The location is perfect for exploring the charming town of Beaufort, NC. We stayed in a king, water view room on the 2nd floor with a private balcony. The room and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom is outdated and needs renovating . Daily continental breakfast is delivered to your room with a smile. We found the staff to be courteous and helpful.

What a beautiful, well cared for Inn! There were 3 stories and an elevator for those with mobility issues. Most of the rooms face the marina, which is just across the street, giving some glorious water views from the porch attached to our room. The check in area offered items to purchase such as snacks and forgotten toiletries, and everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. There is a separate room on the top floor with an outside porch, grand piano, and sitting room which adds a real bonus and opportunity to get out of your room and possibly meet other people who are also visiting. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delivered to your room, not provided in a mutual space for everyone to congregate. What a nice touch and throw back to hotel service of yesteryears! If you ever find yourself in Beaufort, which by the way is an incredibly charming little town, find your way to Inlet Inn and give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Great location! Great view of the Beaufort waterfront. Very close to great restaurants like Beaufort Grocery and Aqua . Both within walking distance. Town within an easy walk. Included Continental breakfast adequate. They are upgrading the Inn . Bathrooms are dated and unfriendly for several guests in a room. Elevator was not working properly. They do not clean rooms daily unless you ask! Otherwise it is the only place in Beaufort unless you want to stay at the new, pricey Beaufort Hotel which is 2 miles from downtown.

We enjoyed our recent stay! The bed was comfortable (though slightly high for my short legs), and the view was nice! The room included a small refrigerator, with a shared microwave in the lounge. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was brought to the room each morning on request.

The Inn was certainly welcoming & comfortable. Our room's balcony looked out at the waterfront...so that was enjoyable to sit in the rockers and check out all the activity. Bought a bottle of prosecco in the lobby for a reasonable price. The complimentary muffins & juice at breakfast was a nice touch.

Pound for pound, Beaufort, NC can't be beat for its combination of setting, activities, shops, bars and restaurants. The Inlet Inn is within a 10 minute walking of everything, with convenient private parking. Our first floor room faced the water and was spacious, clean and comfortably appointed, with an excellent bed. Only quibble is the small TV and balky cable service. A modest continental breakfast is provided. Directly across the street is the Green Room and contiguous Black Sheep. The former sits on the water and offers great drinks as well as the food of the Black Sheep, which has the best blister crust pizzas outside of Rome.

What an incredible experience we just had at the Inlet Inn! The service was beyond our expectations by far. I want to give a “High 5” to all of the Front Desk team but especially to Jordan. We had just had a trying situation with our dog that forced us to postpone our trip and Jordon took care of everything plus he was truly concerned about the stress I was experiencing because of our dog. Jordan, you are a huge asset to the Inlet Inn! The views from the balcony were incredible and the beds were so comfortable! The continental breakfast delivered to the room by a very sweet lady was perfect! We can’t wait to return!!

This is our 3rd visit to Inlet Inn. We find the hotel to be very clean, fresh, and well taken care of. The housekeeping staff as well as front office are cordial. The hotel has a perfect location on the waterfront. It is easy to walk to local restaurants, bars and stores. The continental breakfast delivered to your room is very good. Parking is convenient. We will return to this hotel in future years.
