My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 nights after a busy 6 days in Auckland. It was the perfect place to recharge for the rest of our month in New Zealand. Chris and Paul generously stocked the cottage with breakfast makings (including fresh eggs and bacon to cook and wonderful breads and treats!) Although quirky, the cottage...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mussel Bed and would recommend it to anyone. However, we were expecting a sea view and perhaps a glimpse of the mussel beds but there was none as the rooms are located in the owner's extensive garden. The accommodation was very comfortable and charming. Breakfast delivered by Paul was a treat every day - as...

We had a wonderful time for 3 days in this beautiful bnb end of february. Chris and Paul did a great job to make our time even better including a birthday present for my wife. We loved to be there despite of rainy days. Would stay there again if we come back the long way from Munich Germany. Again lots...

Chris & Paul were super gracious hosts with us when we arrived! And I don't know if it's Chris or Paul who cooks but the food we had was beautifully presented and delicious! We loved the setup, we were able to enjoy our breakfast outside when the weather allowed and we had a charming little breakfast nook in our room...

We stayed for three nights in Musselbed B&B and loved it. Chris and Paul take care of their guests and are very helpful and friendly. Every morning a delicious breakfast is being served which you can eat on the terrace in front of your room or in the garden (weather permitted). In the afternoon there’s homemade cake with your self-made...

This is a high quality boutique B&B well prepared and very well run. The rooms are a good size with good amenities for all you would need. Breakfast, ordered the night before was delivered to our room and eaten on a veranda outside, which was very pleasant, the food was very very good. Cooks Beach requires a short drive to...

Arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by Chris, who immediately showed us to the cottage which is part of their B&B offer. She quickly and efficiently explained all the facilities in the cottage and the nearest shops, way to the beach, ferry, etc. By 8pm, we'd had a swim, done some shopping, been over to Whitianga by ferry and were...

This is a delightful B & B where Chris and Paul are very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable with all necessary amenities and the breakfasts delightfully presented and all you might want. Cooks Beach is lovely and there is plenty to do within walking or driving distance. So highly recommended.
