My family - myself, my wife and our two lovely children - stayed at Mercury Bay Holiday Park for a couple of days. It is a very clean and quiet place to relax. The hosts - Georgina and Warwick - are very hospitable, kind and nice people, always open to talk and answer your questions. The service was excellent. The...

We stayed 5 nights here and had a lovely time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our only complaint was about the boats leaving before 6am, and the owners took our comments on board and did something about it. We also had family members camping and their experience of the communal...

Thank you for taking the time to place a review. I enjoyed our chats and we are really pleased that we could find a solution that was a win/win. We love the many-generational families that stay with us. It just reinforces what a great family Park we have. We really hope to see you all again. Hope your little one...

This Holiday Park is the best we have ever been in. Really rate all the facilities very highly. Lovely people who run the Camp. Recommend to anyone to stay here. The swimming pool is well maintained as is the Grounds around the Camp

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. A conversation with us while you were here may have helped to eliminate some of your problems or at least further explain them. Ants can be a problem at any time when food is left out, otherwise we do not tend to see them. Our native bush cockcroaches are not...

Enjoyed our stay here. Showers were the hottest ones we've been to so far. Facilities were good for what we needed. Only downside was dryer No. 1 was not drying properly and we ended up having to take our clothes to the laundrymat in town due to the time we had to leave in the morning .

Hi Jacqueline Thank you for your lovely review. Sorry your clothes didn't dry in time! WE will check out the dryer to see what the hold up was. Sometimes it can just be the type of items in there or that there are too many things at a time. Isn't it sad that holidays still mean you have to do...

Stayed only one nigh in campervant and found staff helpful and facilities quite tired but certainly clean enough with good kitchen facilities...unfortunately the hot water went off through the night and wasn't on for a long time in the morning..indeed we were offered a later check out for showers to warm up but alas, had to get on the road....

Thank you for taking some time to write a review. We are so sorry about the hot water! There was a power cut or power surge that evening at it really played havoc with the park. Our kitchen facilities are scheduled for a bit of a face lift next winter so you will have to come back and see us...

Spacious tidy site for our caravan, but access roads rather narrow with tight corners. Elderly but clean facilities, nothing supplied to wipe sinks clean after use. Well placed for walking to town or beaches.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Park. My apologies for no cloths in the kitchen. A quick message to us would have easily rectified the matter. We are here to help. Scallop Festival was busy and thankfully the weather Gods were being nice! When we do get full up it can be a bit tricky maneuvering the...

A very belated review - our apologies for the oversight Georgina & Warwick! We had a fabulous stay at MBHP in January & look forward to returning. Hi Kelly-Jackson clan More than happy to wait for that review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. So many of our guests love the accessibility to town and yet while you are in the Park it feels miles from anywhere. We hope you will be back this summer!

Very happy with our recent experience with Mercury Bay Holiday Park from start to finish. Lovely hosts - efficient and super helpful with local knowledge and tips. Incredibly clean, and very much geared to families and tourists looking for a relaxed but well run environment. 10 minute stroll to heart of the town, all flat level. Very peaceful.
