The proprietors were away but we were looked after by people who owned the business before. The room as an average queen but the en-suite shower room was tiny. The shared open-planned lounge and kitchen had a lift in it to the owners portion of the house and one never knew when and if the owners were going to turn...

The place is on a quiet side street away from traffic. It is within a half hour walk along a waterfront park to the downtown area. Wayne was helpful in recommending restaurants. The room was very clean and well supplied with linens. The place does have have WIFI but it was not working the on night we stayed there. We...

Very nicely appointed bedrooms with ensuite showers and large white fluffy towels. Limited storage in the room but case storage available. Comfortable lounge shared by the three rooms. Freshly prepared breakfast with lots of choice. Heavy rainfall...

Our room in this lovely B&B was comfortable if a little small, but the rest of the facilities more than made up for that. Wayne and Lizette were very hospitable hosts and the home-cooked breakfast was tasty. Location was close enough to walk to town and a very quiet neighbourhood. All in all, a great place for a relaxing stay.

HOSTS: Wayne and Lizette were simply fantastic hosts from start to finish. They greeted us with a warm welcome and tour of their B&B, served us delicious breakfasts at our chosen time from a menu they provided to us each night before, and were extremely helpful with food and travel tips in the area. They were even proactive to offer...

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is immaculate, and having been on the road for more than a week it was a grwat relief to have washing facilities available. The cooked brakfast was plentiful and the homemade smoothie's a delight. Quite frankly we would not hesitate recommending this gem of a place, and we...

Wayne and Lizette were wonderful hosts willing to chat with you and give you good information on the surroundings. We were concerned about the size of the rooms based on another review and we are happy to inform that small does not mean uncomfortable. We found the rooms comfortable,, well appointed and spotless. There is also space for oversized luggage....

Wayne and Liz were fantastic hosts, very accommodating, informative and welcoming. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean and well equip and there is a beautiful outdoor area (with a BBQ!). Breakfasts were great, especially the Arabic poached apricots. The B&B is in a good location, close to the main strip of Whitianga and beach. Highly recommended.

Vern and Joan were very welcoming and helpful with lots of ideas and advice from Vern on places to visit. Although small, the room was very comfortable and everything was spotless.
