This is a nice house in an area you wouldn't normally look to be holidaying! We needed a place to stay after a wedding and we couldn't have been happier. From the booking procedure and graciousness of the host to the clean, comfortable room, everything was excellent. John couldn't do enough for us and made us feel more like friends...

We just want to say a huge thank you to Sue and John for their first class hospitality. We stayed with them on two different occasions during our holiday to WA. Both times we received a very warm welcome. Both times our rooms were very clean and comfortable and the facilities on offer to us ensured our visits were a...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Sue and John in their lovely home. This is a short review as we would thoroughly recommend to everyone. I do have to point out though that the hosts do not appear to use the aircon even after I spoke about how hot I get at night. On the second night we were given a...

We did have 2 very hot days when you were with us, and Im sorry about the heat. We set the Airconditioner at 24degrees which is cool but not cold, so the air cond. goes off when it reaches 24. If its too cold all night, we wake up with dry throats, and so do other guests. I only put...

We arrived on 8 October after a drive of some 600km to be warmly welcomed and a hot cup of tea with biscuits was just what we needed to perk us up. After settling in we decided to walk to the nearby pub for food and our hosts even offered to pick us up later due to the rain that...

Ann and Alan, I wish you had been staying longer as well, to have a good look around the Rockingham area, we have an abundance of Wild Dolphins that come close to the shore and i know you would have enjoyed an encounter with them. Maybe next time. Safe travelling to both of you.

I am not the best at writing reviews and usually avoid them if I can. But with the great experience that I've had staying with hosts John and Sue I compelled to write one. The place is clean, homely and filled with all the essentials. There's a great pub, takeaways and a beautiful beach nearby. I was travelling for work...

I stayed at Homestead B&B for most of April 2013 and I really can't imagine staying anywhere else. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and treated with tea and biscuits then shown to the ensuite room, which was immaculate and stocked with everything a traveller would need (toiletries, coat hangers, alarm clock, wifi, very comfortable bed, tv/dvd player, desk, bathroom)....

We looked for somewhere to stay within reach of Perth airport for our last night in WA. It was mid-week but Fremantle and Perth had nothing attractive at reasonable prices so we settled on Rockingham. Sue was very helpful with directions etc. The place has a slightly old fashioned air, sort of like staying with the family, although the wifi...

“The twin room overlooks the back garden The room was ample size had a walk in robe small desk and chair aircon and wall mounted tv.The breakfast was plentiful and provided at a time that had been pre arranged the night before. As the hosts live on sight the evenings are shared and they have a policy of no food allowed into the bedrooms (drinks are provided by them or there is a kettle in the laundry)because of this policy all areas are spotlessly clean.”
