We wanted to experience the interior of the Margaret River region so booked at Loose Goose for two nights. We had a delightful time at LG and enjoyed interacting with the animals on the property and the owners of LG who are wildlife rescuers. Whether this place is for you depends on what you want. The cabins are fairly basic...

We had a fantastic time at Loose Goose Chalets at Nannup. The accomodation is great for groups - we booked the 3 chalets which are about 50m away from each other. It gave us (each family) our own space, yet the ability to come together for meals etc. The kids loved being able to 'explore' and there was plenty of...

We had a wonderful time at loose goose! Laraine and grant are lovely welcoming people who did their absolute best to accommodate our family and give us a lovely weekend away. Our stay was very enjoyable, our children loved the animals and my husband and i liked learning about the history of the property and having a grand tour with...

Thank you for staying with us. We enjoyed meeting your family and well behaved dog Snatch and look forward to seeing you all again.

We wanted a family place to go that would include the dog. The chalets are nicely spaced apart from each other, you could really 'hear the serenity' and not the neighbours which was fabulous. As far as the chalet itself is concerned I feel that they were a bit over priced for what they were. Comfortable, don't get me wrong...

Hi , thank you for your feedback. We have replaced the kitchen items you told us were missing, and you will have noticed we are currently renovating the chalets. Many guests expect a breakdown of fees as it assists them with the financial aspect, especially if they are not all from the same family. We are really sorry we didn't...

Loose Goose is the most lovely of places to stay. From the secluded cottages surrounded by native bush and loads of wildlife to the animals and birds that Larraine looks after. A special treat was feeding the orphaned joeys in the morning as well as collecting fresh eggs for breaky. A nearby lake provides fantastic swimming and Nannup itself is...

What an amazing place! We only managed to fit in one night's stay on our recent trip from Scotland for a special birthday. The chalets are very well equipped and it's just so peaceful and relaxing. We were treated to some wonderful wildlife sights like kangaroos, blue wrens and emus (you don't get them in Scotland you know). Another treat...

Nannup is slightly off the beaten track, a sleepy little village nestled in the Blackwood Valley in the South West. We've been regulars for many years. 3 chalets on a 40 acres property with great access to nearby bush walks, mountain biking, horse riding, trail biking, Barrabup pool - the Blackwood valley. Great place for kids (with a mini zoo...

What an amazing place and wonderful experience we had staying in the Loose Goose Chalets. Our children absolutely loved feeding the baby kangaroos, wallaby, emus, ducks, goats and rabbits that the owners Grant and Laraine care for. We were also able to take our dog. The nearby Barrabup pools are well worth a visit and a dip. We really enjoyed...

We have been staying at the Loose Goose with a group of other families virtually every long weekend for about seven years. It has been an incredibly important part of our kids' growing up - where they could be allowed to roam free from a very early age, exploring, playing 'spotlight' at night, feeding the animals, hanging out together at...

We arrived at night and were delighted by the natural feel surrounding our chalet. The chalet had everything we could have ever needed, including a full kitchen with cooking equipment, electric blankets, TV with music and DVD player plus a bunch of movies, outdoor bbq, outdoor full sized fridge/freezer and an indoor bar fridge, and insect repellent tho we didn't...

“Chalet 1 is the most private, chalet 2 has a yard for horses, but our personal favourite is chalet 3 with the wooden floorboards and better afternoon sun on the deck.”
