do not go there. terrible, unhygienic, outdated, do not expect much, even a welcome, the overpriced room booked for me and my old one (no elevator) may not have been open for ten years by its smell and dust. one of the worse places i ve experienced, just go camp, you ll save money and stay happy.

We stayed here for one night. A very quiet place, especially at night. We paid extra for a river view room. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure good. Yes it needs to be redecorated, but it was neat and was adequate. TV was good. There were two channels that plated recent release movies. They don't do breakfast, but there are a...

Dropped in for lunch as we were told the views were fantastic, well they were ok not fantastic, but that is a totally minor point. Typical pub food but slightly better on the seafood front than most I've eaten in. Not expensive at all and the decor looks like a bowls club from yesteryear which actually adds to the charm...

Stayed overnight at the Augusta Hotel, the room was very outdated but suited the purpose for an overnight stay. The queen size was very soft and you sink in it. Views were fantastic and overlooking the Blackwood River, it was worth the $$$. The Pub next door serves great food. I didn't mind the hotel, it's reasonably priced for down...

Old and out dated accommodation .There was no heater in our room. We had been supplied with a small electric fan heater, which struggled to heat the room, it was cold and musty. The hot water was slow to come through, and was in bursts of hot then cold. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the supply of 1 blanket...

Across the road from the hotel / pub are the old style motel units. The one I stayed in had a musty smell. As it was a bit cool, I used the little noisy portable electric fan heater. I didn't notice any smoke detector or fire suppression in the room, maybe it is too cold and damp for fire? The...

Stayed for a night here in August. It was completely unplanned; was running late and booked a room at Augusta Hotel Motel at the last minute to get some shelter and sleep. We got a room across the road since it is slightly cheaper and we had no time to appreciate the view anyway. The room was miserably cold. Even...

Absolutely stunning views of the river whilst you have a lovely dinner and a nice glass of red! The food was delicious, generous Starters ( nearly a main meal!), the Menu is limited, but it's the middle of Winter, so that's to be expected, but the quality is great! Excellent service, friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Roll on Summer,...

Thank you. Great comfy beds & great price $90 a night. Good laundry so got the washing done. We stayed in the villas across the road from the main hotel area. Still had great views. Thank goodness for the heater. If you want somewhere thats clean; good price & comfy this is it.

Augusta is a great little town to explore. We had a motel room on the corner which I think gave us a bit more space and a great view. The only criticism I have is that the 2 big windows overlooking the inlet/river were very dirty. I actually gave them a bit of a clean so I could enjoy the...
