We stayed at the chalets for 2 nights with our 2 young boys. The chalets are so lovely and comfortable and well equipped. The view was amazing and the service from Steve the owner was fantastic. We will definitely be back for another stay very soon.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Denmark. Great location, great service and free internet (yay!!!). The chalet was well-equipped and while the furniture may look a little out of date, it's still a great place to visit. We were well looked after by Steve and enjoyed our time here.

We were looking forward to our annual girls weekend in Augusta for a change. Chalet 1 was, to say the least, disappointing. We were 7 adults and were told we would have three bedrooms; two downstairs & one upstairs. What they failed to mention was 'upstairs' was actually the attic accessed via an almost vertical ladder into the manhole. The...

A group of 7 ladies booked here for a long weekend away. The chalet was advertised as 6 beds in 3 bedrooms - two bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom upstairs. The truth was a little different. The 'upstairs' is a narrow, steep ladder into the roof space and the bed upstairs is a very thin mattress on the floor. Definitely...

Very pleasant view of paddocks, cows, roos and the river in the distance. Chalet itself was reasonably comfortable and was a bit of a trip back in time with it's decor. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but i think would be great for families for a holiday.

Enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay last weekend in Chalet 3. Everything was wonderful - and the view from the verandah was superb: a stretch of paddocks and lovely black cows. Only 3km from Augusta. Wonderful experience.

I stayed in chalet 4 as part of a large group and am still wishing I could be back there every weekend. Not only is the layout easy to move around, spacious and with plenty of privacy for rooms, there is also just the most breathtaking view from every window. The kitchen, living, dining, bedrooms all have views not to...

Tried sheoak chalets last year for our annual craft retreat and loved it so much we came back and intend returning every year. Chalet 4 sleeps 10 comfortably. A roaring fire with plenty of firewood. An amazing view from the bedrooms, loft and main area. A well stocked and easy to use kitchen. Beautifully handmade timber features. Steve, the owner,...

I am a returning customer who have had pleasant experiences on both occasions. The venue possesses an unpretentious and serene country feel about it. House appointments is simple but adequate. Owner/caretaker Steve is a down to earth friendly person who is always available to assist.
