Bella Vista Bellingen , hard to find, great to stay at. Follow Ford street , then Hill street, is Evans Street, a small Cul-de-sac where Bella Vista nestles among the tress. The house has accommodation on the top floor and the Garden room is downstairs and this is where we found ourselves on a very hot Dec afternoon. The room,...

We rented the whole top floor of gorgeous living area a la olde style but so comfy - and 3 bedrooms, each with ensuites and TV etc. Best of all the Pool. Superb for this warm to hot climate. Worst? Thieving kookaburras swooping onto our plates! Actually hilarious. Brekkie provided and all in all a wonderful week in a very...

We found this a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We ended up booking an extra night. Rooms are beautifully set out with TV and ensuite in all three rooms. Good sized family/kitchen area. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice location well out of town, lovely trees and palms surrounded the pool, which was not very inviting as it didn't look clean. Trees also create shade and our room, ground floor garden room was very dark. A large bush outside the patio door obscured the pool view. The apartment was very dated 60's. The carpet was very dirty.Booked to...

We had 2 nights here & really enjoyed a very peaceful stay ( admittedly there was no one in the upstairs house) The unit is a little old style but was very clean & comfortable. It had all of the necessary fittings & a great pool & garden. We will probably book here again when next in Bellingen.

Lovely setting and we were very sorry that we only stayed one night on our way up north. We stayed in the downstairs accommodation, comfy bed adequate kitchen and great value. The only thing I could say , like others have said, the staircase bit low when using the kitchen. Would recommend.

Without at least moderate fitness, you'll need a car, not to walk into town, but to walk back, as there is a wee bit of a hill. If you *have* a car, you'll need to be pretty confident with driving in tight confines on a fairly steep hill. Those two matters aside, this place was tremendous, and excellent value. We...

We stayed in the downstairs section and it was very comfortable for two nights. The rooms were very clean and it was really nice to have some breakfast included in the tariff. Not a lot to cook with but there is amazing food in town anyway! Bellingen is a LOVELY place and we would definitely stay here again. Tip: if...

“If you only book one room you will be in the garden room downstairs. If you book 2 or 3 rooms, you will be upstairs. The upstairs and downstairs can be separated off at the staircase so you don't mix. The owner told us the only time he might rent out each room separately at the same time would be during peak times 2 or 3 times a year for a festival. In this case each room has its own lock and you'd be sharing the kitchen and lounge facilities.”
