This hotel manages to be very informal whilst maintaining very high standards. The rooms are beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean, with excellent bathrooms and comfy beds.Staff are all young and will do anything with a smile.(I left my camera charger at home and they took endless trouble to find me one that worked) The food is wonderful and wine list sensibly priced....

This was a great spot to have lunch. We sat on the terraced area, overlooking the Great Pool and the coast path. The food was superb and the staff were very smart, friendly and efficient. The service was first class and it was a pleasure to dine here.

This is a lovely location. It has great food and friendly staff. Wonderful on a hot day to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Island. A nice easy walk to get to the hotel too. Well worth a visit.

Third stay at this exceptional hotel. I was put in an upgraded room because it was free although I hadn't asked for a sea view as I was trying (only very slightly) to budget. It was the same room that I've stayed in the previous two trips so now that is MY room for any subsequent trips. The service was...

Four nights here to coincide with Walk Scilly Week. Our room (suite) was wonderful and had everything we needed. A short walk took us to the bar and restaurant area. Great food and very accommodating of my non-meat eating diet. Breakfasts were brilliant and the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We will return!

Another long September weekend visit to this most beautiful island....and Hell Bay continues to deliver perfection. Cannot fault the place, the rooms, the staff, the food, all just stunning. Even the weather was kind! Long may the magic formula continue!
