Great breakfast, nice host Steven - and only 10-15 min walk to the Europapark. Everything was taken care of! We enjoyed the two nights and will surely come back when possible. Absolute alternative to double priced hotel rooms in the Europapark.
We booked this bed and breakfast via booking.com for our family trip to Europa Park coming from London the first weekend in December. We arrive quite late in the evening, and we just informed the hotel as per booking.com instructions "inform the accommodation if you will check in after 7pm". The reply: "I suggest you cancel, as I already work long days so I will definitely not check you in at 10pm" WOW!!! So now we are a family with two weeks to find another accommodation. Luckily we found a much more accommodating and friendly b&b!! However we could have been in serious trouble if we would have booked our trip in peak season. Terrible service and rude!!
Such a gorgeous well-appointed bed and breakfast. Absolutely spotlessly clean, comfy beds, beautiful modern decor and varied, fresh breakfast. The host was so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Only a 10 min walk to Europa-Park in a very quiet residential location. Lovely restaurants and great ice-cream parlour nearby. Really couldn’t have been better! If we ever return to Rust, we would stay at Rooster again without question!
I have never stayed in a B&B as good as this ever! Barbara the owner catered for everything, including picking us all up from the train station at Ringsheim and dropping us off for our return journey. Actual rooms we’re spotlessly clean both with their own individual showers/toilets, not to mention the balconies. I wouldn’t bother staying at Europa-Park, I can’t imagine you would have this level of quality there. Added benefit of staying out of the park has to be the Village of Rust, has a wide array of restaurants from traditional German cuisine to Pizzas and even a fantastic ice cream parlour, all at realistic prices. Plus when you’ve been in the park all day it’s a welcome contrast to crowds of people, atmosphere a lot calmer.
The second time we stayed at Rooster. Everything is perfekt and the breakfast is something really extra! Claudia is very nice and friendly. New house - clean and good beds to sleep in. The terrace is nice where You can sit and play games. Also good to have walkingdistance to Europapark. We Will be back.
