The Chateau is set in beautiful grounds and rooms decorated in a unique fashion, although some areas still require work. Bring your own supplies of refreshments or expect to walk into town as directed by Management - 15 minutes of pouring rain in our experience. Expect to feel guilty for asking for anything other than the room you were given....

Same answer, to these comments coming from the same person (comment from jacquioman, below). And just a small detail: we had been asked to book a restaurant in the village for Saturday lunch (300 meters far from the Chateau, 15 minutes walk?????). Sorry we had not been asked to book the sun... And a member of the staff was always...

Good place if you don't want anything to eat or drink. Like a locked door and love to have dogs at breakfast. Mind you breakfast is very hit and miss. Great if you smoke as can do that in rooms without any smoke alarms or fire precautions. Owners very clean and spend all their time polishing and sweeping up tiniest...

Just a few words, dear Mrs R., to clear up the situation. We are very sorry not to have been able to come up to your expectations, but... The Chateau was on exclusive rental for a wedding, of which you and your friends were guests. Everything (cocktail, wedding ceremony, dinner, after dinner open bar, breakfasts...) was organized according the instructions...

Stayed for a night during a visit to the Loire valley. We wanted to stay in an actual chateau - and that's exactly what we got. The whole hotel has been very nicely decorated and everything was very high quality and extremely clean. There are some nice contrasts of classical and modern - such as the room versus the bathroom....

My partner and I stayed only one night in the Louis-Antoine de Bougainville suite and left feeling very disappointed.....that we couldn't stay longer!! This chateau is so very beautiful, the furnishings exquisite yet simple and uncluttered and the service was lovely and very accommodating. Both the room itself and the bathroom were huge and there were two large windows in...

Chateau de Reignac was brilliant! Photos don't do it justice. We got there Friday afternoon and were sad to leave on the Monday. The service is delightful. The food tops and the vibe awesome! The rooms are all fantastic. How do I know? We booked the entire chateau for our wedding and we are very glad we did. It is...

We spent 3 nights at the Chateau. On the first night we enjoyed a superb 3 course set menu accompanied by a nice selection of wines. The hotel is run very much along the lines of a private home which is great in many respects but can be awkward in others, for instance there is no bar to speak of...

My wife, my 2 year old son and I stayed at this hotel in June. The hotel was excellent. The room was spotless. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was outstanding. The staff was simply great. I highly recommend it. It is better than the pictures. It was a family atmosphere.

The chateau was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had the Marie Duplessis room - beautiful. The chateau is very clean, with friendly staff. Would definitely go there again.

My wife and two of our friends stayed at Chateau de Reignac for only one night as we toured the Loire Valley. After our nights stay we really wished we could have stayed longer. We also included the dinner and breakfast. Our room was a junior suite; I believe the name was Duplessis. The staff was excellent as was dinner...

We treated ourselves to this hotel to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary, and what a treat it proved to be. This place is a dream. We stayed in the Lafayette and Rochambeau rooms with our 2 children. The rooms were fabulous, very elegant and comfortable. Our bathroom, the size of some hotel rooms, had the deepest bath I have...
