Michel and Inès have renovated this majestic Domaine with taste, sparing no expense for detail , there was even a fireplace in our room, which added a romantic effect. We stayed at the Abbaye a couple of weeks ago, having already experienced its magical surroundings last year. The bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable, our hostess was very welcoming and cooked us a delicious meal. The approach drive wandered through beautiful old mixed woodland before opening onto some tranquil lilly ponds. The front of the building was fairly unassuming and we had to ring the bell before the giant doors were opened and we drove into the enormous quad. To find this monastry is not easy as the GPS is not supporting the very last part of the trip. However, if you finaly found it, an ancient monastry who looks like the movie the name of the rose could be made there directly. Such a nice and quiet place it is unbelivable.
