Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!! Our guides and the staff at village were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The Amazon is an incredible place, and we just loved our stay! We saw macaws, monkeys, piranhas, guinea pigs and all the wonderful Amazonian wildlife, visited the botanical medicine gardens and even looked over the tree tops of the beautiful rainforest. Our guide Robin was from the local community so had great knowledge and eager to pass on information. Food and service were fantastic and they readiy catered for my wife who is Gluten intolerant. The excursions were well organised and informative and there were always things to see and do. Rooms with only Three walls was a highlight.

This place is wonderful!! I love the fact that proceeds are a 60/40 split between the Community and Rainforest Expeditions. You are not only helping this community grow and thrive but Rainforest Expeditions is also a Peruvian owned company, not a foreigner owned company, so all around you are helping the Peruvian economy! We stayed here while on Contiki and I was pleasantly surprised by what we found. The jungle lodge is located just off the river, probably a ten minute walk down. It was very peaceful and relaxing with hammocks and couches at the entrance. The rooms are simple but enough, it's very hot at night and can be a bit of...

Great time, great food, and great staff. We went during the rainy season but still were able to see everything we came for. The outings were not physically challenging and they were diverse enough that we never got bored. Great way to get a taste of the Amazon Rainforest.

A great place to stay and explore the Amazon. The Bungalows are very comfortable. The service at the Resort is of a high standard. Meals are very good with vegetarians catered for. The guides are very knowledgeable and willing to help you see what you want to see. Drinks are very reasonably priced and they have a very nice cocktail...

There was never a dull moment at the lodge. We spent much of the day trekking the rain forest, and all down time was very comfortable at this lodge (which is basically a 4 star resort). Food was all delicious. Electricity and hot water in the showers. The wi-fi is fast enough to send emails or iMessages and is available...

The accommodation was clearly thoughtfully built so that we felt close to the surrounding jungle while still having our creature comforts. The rooms were very cosy and had everything you could need. Yes, we were woken up by the sounds of the howler monkeys some mornings but that really just added to the experience (when else would you be able...
