My daughter and I stayed here for a week and she commandeered the lobby area, giving daily performances of Frozen and other stuff she made up that involved prancing around the fireplace and so on. We really settled in. Throughout our stay the staff, from the cleaning staff up through the bar, reception and management, were absolutely fantastic - charming,...

Was there the first week of August. Initially stayed in Puerta del Sol. Tried the rooms without a balcony and the one with the balcony. The one with balcony faces the slope while the other one faces the parking lot and the view towards Santiago. The latter view is better but the balcony allows you to cool off if the...

This is a 3/4 star at best but probably the best in the resort. Staff were good but we were disappointed with the lack of snow in the high season. Many runs broken and lots of rocks and stones . Will stick to the northern hemisphere for skiing. Food was ok but no kids options.

I spent 3 nights at this "5" star hotel. How they got that rating is beyond me. I would call it a 3 star on a good day. The rooms were old, noisy, lousy bathrooms, old beds.....the food was very average at best. There were only two good things about it. 1. The staff was very nice and 2. The...

Greatest location among the other options at Valle Nevado complex. They have a ski room where you can store your boots and start skiing from the main entrance. Good for beginners. There are 3 restaurants options and the food is very good.

We were staying at Puerta del Sol hotel, but we had some problems in our room and as a courtesy we were moved to this hotel. The Valle Nevado hotel has excellent facilities, and a very attentive staff. The good thing about this hotel is that it is the only one which has a private ski room so that you...

Great location, fine restaurants, excellent skiing. Get your boots in the lobby and start skiing from the main entrance. It is a great experience no matter your level of expertise. This is the best resort in South America!

Prinzac, We also think Valle Nevado is the best ski resort in South America! Valle is the most modern and largest ski resort, too, and we're proud of our new gondola, restaurants, and services for 2013 / 2014. The Hotel Valle Nevado offers views unlike any other Chilean resort, and ski in / ski out is perfect for those looking...

Hotel ok with clean, large rooms. Good location and service. Terrible, exorbitantly priced food at all restaurants for dinner, especially Italian restaurant. Inattentive service at restaurants, especially Italian restaurant.
