The hostel is cheap but offers a fair breakfast, optional dinner and a pool. If you're thinking to walk up to Masada to see the sunrise, it's the ideal solution: you arrive here the evening before, you can relax at the pool and then leave at 4.45 in order to be on top at 6 just in time for the...

This is super convenient to Masada Park and we found it to be superior to a hostel but with less luxury than a hotel - not really a surprise. Pool was excellent with awesome views of Dead Sea. Rooms were private since we were traveling as a family. We saw Qumron and Ein Gedi on our way to Masada then...

The good: elevators, pool, internet, breakfast, proximity to Masada fortress, fridge in room, coffee in room, soap, towels, secure access to property, nice staff, nice rooms, comfy beds, beautiful view, a bit pricier than the usual The bad: the buffet was not worth the 50 or 60 shekels. Food was hot on the outside then cold on the inside, key...

Had a great weekend at the Masada hostel. Food was great, pool was beautiful and not crowded. The public areas such as stairs and restrooms were not as clean as could be. We were 5 people in one room and it was spacious and comfortable. We were promised a room adjacent to the pool and while the building was adjacent...

Good place. Very good pool, the worker in the eating room is very friendly and they speak different languages. It's expensive for families. For a group is wonderful, I will come again. مكان ممتاز للمجموعات الطلابيه وغيرها . مكيف فعال. غرفه الطعام ممتازه من ناحيه المعامله وخاصه ناطقي اللغه العربيه منهم .

The hostel is located just below Masada and adjacent to the Dead Sea. Very clean and tidy. The staff is amazing. The rooms are nice and sleep quality is not the best. The dining room is clean and tidy. A reasonable level of food. There is an outdoor pool. Reasonable prices....!!! In conclusion ... especially suitable for families. Not suitable...

My trip to Israel in Oct 2015 was my first experience with hostels. While there are a variety of types, Hi Masada Hostel was more like a luxury hotel than a hostel, yet the price was definitely hostel range. Located at the foot of Masada, this place is a welcome relief for a weary traveler. Bringing a group back in...

We stayed for one night in March 2016, with the intention of hiking up Masada to see the sunrise early the next morning. Although the hotel staff warned us when we checked-in that three school groups were also staying at the hotel that night, and put us in a different wing of the hotel, the noise was astounding. What was...

The best location!!! Rooms are big, clean and confortable. There´s nothing to do besides going up to the ruins and visiting the dead sea. So no need to stay more then one night. You´ll have to eat in the hostel, food is ok, it´s a buffet, simple but good food. Same thing for breakfast. If you´re planning to watch the...
