A tented camp with ten units situated in the southern section of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The tents are spacious and very comfortable with full mosquito net covering of the bed at night. The ensuite shower, toilet and washbasin facilities are also spacious and adequately equipped with amenities and large size bath sheets. The staff under the leadership of...

Don't let the name fool you - Ishasha Wilderness Camp is not an ordinary camp! The site is situated on a beautiful piece of land next to a river. The tents are spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. The staff was attentive and thoughtful - they definitely worked hard to make sure we were having a great trip and that we stayed...

The Wilderness camp is really nice – the camps staffs are wonderful, very attentive and really helpful. I think the tents which are quite close to the river are well designed and very comfortable. I personally did not like to environmental loo, it was awkward to use – And I found having to order hot water to take a shower...

Two faces: - Relax and comfort: Very good service and food, nice location, nice views over a small river, quietness... - Exciting: Direct contact with the enviroment (maybe a buffalo can cross the river a few meters away from you while you have dinner... it happened)

What a place and what a stay! The "tents" are impeccable and luxurious and the staff were fantastic. Godfrey and his crew made us feel at home and at ease. The food was great and there was plenty of it. The sights were tough to get used to. Water buffalo dining right beside you. Elephants out the front gate. Night...

Uganda was our 3rd safari trip to Africa. My first 2 trips were much more basic from a 2 person tent sleeping on a bed roll to a 2 person tent sleeping on pretty basic cots. Ishasha Wilderness Camp takes tent camping to a much higher level. I had always heard about the upscale tent camping lodges and have to...

This lodge is located within the Queen Elizabeth Park next to the Ntungwe River. It was a stunning location. We watched elephants from the dining area and our tent. Wildlife were constantly passing through the area along the river. The tents are quite spacious and very comfortable, including washroom and shower facilities. I was so enthralled with the game and...

Ishasha Wilderness Camp is in the middle of nowhere (in fact in the middle of the Queen Elizabeth Park!), but that is part of its wonderful charm. It is such a peaceful place. The staff were friendly and helpful and both the lunch and dinner we had were delicious. Our banda was charming - clean, tidy and well appointed (eg...

This is well-situated with regard to the commencement of the game drives. The food is fine, and the staff very helpful and friendly. One small point - various animals tend to wander very close, so keep your eyes open ! also rather a lot of mosquitoes.

I stayed also in QENP, but Ishasha sector was much more close to nature! Located in between nature I loved the quietness and the wonderful tents at a small river. The staff was so nice and helpful. We decided to do a game drive with them that we didn't have to self-drive (we were self-driving). We really loved it! Food,...
