Friendly staff, and huge nice room. Great Coffee (of course) and other food was excellent. The narrow streets of Stone Town are confusing, so we had to ask directions a few times to find it. The also helped finding a dependable taxi to the airport.

I stayed at the Zanzibar Coffee House foe 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with excellent service, spotless accommodations and all the amenities I needed (working AC, renovated bathroom, solid wifi and delicious breakfast). The location is very central, near some excellent restaurants, but the hotel itself serves delicious drinks and and desserts. Staff were kind and...

Was looking forward to visiting the famed Coffee House for months before we even arrived in Stone Town. But was sorely disappointed when we were waited on by surely the rudest waitress/barista in Zanzibar. The cake was okay at best. We won't be back I'm sad to say, not with so many other friendly restaurants in Stone Town.

Zanzibar Coffee House is a fantastic place to stay for the travelers who want to be in the very center of the ancient city. The taxi driver or dalla dalla will drop you off and you will walk to the coffee house a few minutes away, because the streets where it is located are for foot and bicycle traffic only,...

Only a few minutes walk away from all the major attractions of Stone Town, and yet relatively quiet (as quiet as the city can get I think. The excellent staff saw to our every desire, including booking tours. The rooms were gorgeous and the breakfast on the terrace every morning was fresh and delicious. 10/10 do recommend.

We stayed in at the Coffee House for our last night in Zanzibar before returning home. The room was fantastic and full of character and staff really good. The cafe downstairs was also very good with really good staff and food. Breakfast in the roof top lounge was a great way to start the day. Can be a little hard...

The staff were helpful, courteous, prompt, friendly, and available. The rooms were perfectly clean, free of any mold, with comfortable beds and nice en suite rooms as well. The air conditioning worked just right. I especially liked having a ceiling fan located directly above the bed so that I could continue to use the mosquito net (hung on the canopy...

I stayed in this hotel for only one night. They arranged a (good) taxi to pick me up from the airport. Unfortunately, they did not serve dinner. The nice staff showed me a good restaurant just around the corner. The room was nice and clean, provided with airconditioning, a safe and good WiFi. Also, the separate bathroom on the hall...

A wonderful little hidden gem in the bustle of stone town; we stayed in the arabica suite which was stunning. Helpful and very friendly local staff, amazing coffee, delicious breakfast on the terrace watching / listening to the bustle of the town.
