I can confidently say I had absolutely no hotel envy while staying at the authentic and enchanting Seyyida. Stone Town seems to offer two styles of...

I have stayed twice now at the Seyyida in the Stone Town quarter of Zanzibar and had excellent experiences both times. The location couldn't be more convenient, a few minutes walk from the ferry, but off the busy main road, set back enough on one of those winding narrow pedestrianized streets that are so characteristic of the old town -...

Our brief stay in Stone Town at the Hotel Seyyida could not have been better. Our room was beautifully prepared for our arrival and was wonderfully comfortable. The necessary AC worked well with a quiet fan!
