Hello Jane, sorry that this was left unanswered. We don't get informed of new questions here and weren't aware that you'd asked! In case anyone in future asks the same question, yes it is possible to book directly with us. The email address can be found on our website. We aren't allowed to advertise here... The tents are around 70-80 metres from the riverbank, but with the camp located in a woodland area, that does mean that you can't see the river from the tents due to the trees blocking the way. The bar and dining area are both completely open-sided and are located on the riverbank though, and the bar has a lot of comfy seating and great views, so most people who want to be by the river tend to spend a lot of their time relaxing in the bar.
