We stayed here in early November for our honeymoon and it was a real treat. The bandas are truly beautiful, better than any hotel room we have ever stayed at and with the most amazing view. Very spectacular. Beho Beho is full of treats- the food is amazing and the Swahili lunch is still our favourite meal of the whole... More

If you could imagine the best Safari along with the house style wining and dining in all different locations around the Luxury camp area, immaculate attention to detail in the African bush. Left Dar and flew by Helicopter - brilliant trip and only 45 minutes. Location is S074005 E0375539 and near Hatambulwa (Mount Johnson) which stands about 700 feet as... More

This was the second stop on our Tanzania trip. We have been to Africa 2 other times and have been a variety of Lodges. This lodge was one of the best. The staff and Guides are great and really want you to have a great time there. We arrived and both my wife and I had a GI bug from... More

Stayed here for 3 nights recently in "Baileys Banda' - couldnt fault the service, friendliness of the staff, food quality, game drives or anything else. Baileys Banda is a truly magical place with a private swimming pool and chef and is pure luxury, in an understated way. Fantastic for a private getaway. The guides were amazing - particularly Heribert who... More

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our honeymoon. The rooms are lovely, with beautiful views over the valley below, gorgeous bathrooms and we loved the open fronts to the bandas which made it feel a bit more like you were out in the bush! The food was very good and there was plenty of it! We... More

OK, so you'd pretty much have to be dead not to like this place. It was the perfect way to end a one month safari. The food was the best I experienced in Africa. The accommodations were impeccable, with an open-air design and spectacular views out over The Selous. Felt like something out of Jurassic Park. The shower was great,... More

1. Rooms Excellent 2. Some (lack of) hot water issues 3. Strongly dislike the continual changes of Rangers/Guides 4. Very good guides 5. Food and service OK but not as good as some other camps 6. Location great 7. Good to be in a place where you only see one or two other vehicles each day - a big contrast... More

This was the most amazing trip we have ever taken. We have been all over the world and stayed at some very nice places, but this tops the list. Just book it, seriously, I promise you will not regret it! As all of the other reviewers have already mentioned, Beho Beho unites the thrill and adventure of Safari with ultimate... More

My wife and I visited in early June on our honeymoon for four nights and from the moment we landed until we took off we were treated to a spectacular experience. Phil and Trisha, the camp managers, were amazing and set the pace for a great time. The guides were nothing short of incredible (friendly, knowledgeable, professional and most importantly... More

Had looked at this camp for years, and finally made it there for three nights. The camp is breathtakingly beautiful and superbly run. Phil and Trish were on duty during my stay - wow! Warm, kind, funny, accommodating and excellent hosts, it truly felt like being with family. It is hot and humid, but the game drives cool things off... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beho Beho was the first camp to be sited in The Selous, not on the banks, or the flood plains of the mighty Rufiji River, but in the cooler highlands so as to enjoy the 'cooling breezes' from which its name derives. Always designated as a 'private camp' it has fiercely protected its individuality and privileged location as one of the most 'magical' places it is possible to visit in safari Africa. ... more   less
