Lake Manyara resort stay was excellent for us. We went there on a holiday, after a long day of safari, it was a great place to unwind and chill. The swimming pool had a spectacular view. Each of the rooms have excellent views and its lovely to see the sunrise/sunset hues sitting in the balcony. The room is very eco...

We spent 2 nights here and the lodge was perfect. Lake Manyara National Park is pretty small which means that all lodging is outside of the park. The Serena is about a 10 -15 minute drive outside the park set high up on a hill. The view is ideal and the pool, overlooking the park in the distance was spectacular....

The view from the pool is spectacular. You get a view of the plains and feel on top of the world. I would not classify this hotel as ultra-luxury, but the rooms were clean and large, and the architecture in African-venacular style was interesting. The staff was very accomodating and we enjoyed the food buffets with ample choice and generally...

Very nice lodge with a beautiful view of the lake. Room was clean and comfortable, dinners were a la carte & service very attentive. Lunch was an awesome Mongoli grill menu. We found the wildlife less abundent compared to other parks/ reserves but would still recommend this lodge as it is a welcome stop over on the long road thru...

Well maintained lodge with great food and facilities. Beautiful pool and grounds. Lake Manyara National Park itself is a bit of a disappointment. Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks have much more wildlife.

Having driven from Arusha and had a game drive in Manyara National Park, the damp flannel and drink on arrival was exceedingly welcome. We had a lovely view of the lake from our room which was comfortable and we loved the brightly coloured décor. Because there was no A/C we had a fan which was as efficient. The staff were...

It was my third time at the Serena Manyara, and this time I stayed 3 nights on a business trip. I was pleased to find that they have now installed complimentary WIFI which also worked. Generally, the staff is very friendly, and the place is in a beautiful setting and offers good accommodation. The food is tasty, although when staying...

Unfortunately the view from the lodge into the Manyara National Park is very limited. The gardens are nice, the rooms comfortable, but withour AC or FAN - so during the peak hours it can get rather hot in the room. In our room we could not lock the door for the night - we had to put furniture to fasten...

After a bumpy ride down the entry road the lodge was a welcome site. The people were all helpful and friendly, the food was excellent with a great variety of choses. The room was bright and cheery with access to the outside through the sliding doors. It was a great place to start our safari, except for the road LOL.
