Up in the trees. The room was beautiful with an outdoor shower. Monkeys all around. Like being in the jungle but all safe and sound. The food was very good but the service even better. Definitely a place to return to.

We spent 3 lovely days and 2 nights at the Tree Lodge. The rooms are elevated off of the forest floor and at night, we left the doors open, so we could hear natural noise of the forest and night. Amazing. Outdoor showers were wonderful. Just remember to tie off the on/off knobs or the monkeys will come and turn...

This is a lovely camp in a glorious setting a few hundred metres from the lake, ideal for the early morning sunrise and seeing the glorious flamingos. Animal viewings are more limited because of the forest but some heavy over-night rain transformed things and brought many animals to the roadside for some greta sightings. On other rides we had more...

Beginning from being picked up at the air strip, the time at Lake Manyara was a great adventure. We were able to see animals even on the game drive to the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. At the Tree Lodge you are treated like family from the moment you arrive. The staff is very attentive. All the meals were so good....

Absolutely marvelous &Beyond lodging experience. Gorgeous lodging inside a tree with beautiful beds, furnishings and an outdoor shower. Food was served outside under lamps. The guides were superb and took us through the nearby towns on bike. They played soccer with our children. This is luxury at its finest and simplest.

The long ride to the camp is an adventure! Takes about 1.5 hours from airport with no stops but is truly an beautiful place. Service is on point and food was really delicious. Game drives were interesting and fun! Our guide, Malley, was so knowledgeable and fun! Sundowner on lake was magical and butler Adam was terrific! One thing to...

Incredibly unique and authentic property located "in the bush" in the Lake Manyara park. Excellent service, food, and accommodation. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a unique experience for our honeymoon. This is the only permanent lodge in the park and that advantage is reflected in the safari experience for anyone wanting to get the best possible experience...

Another amazing booking with &Beyond. Peter was a great game drive guide. Letting us see two leopard sightings and the infamous lion lying in a tree, and so much more! Patrice was a spectacular butler and surprised us with a day of private dining - lunch in the trees, sundown out by the lake and dinner on our private deck...

The Lodge is set in the trees towards the end of the National Park at Lake Manyara National Park. The setting is amazing as are the staff, from the moment of arrival to the sad time of departure they never stop being helpful and friendly. Every evening you are escorted to your room by a Masai Guard with spear in...

We stayed 2 nights here on our 25 night African journey. The architecture and facility are unique, appropriate and inviting. The naughty monkeys were fun early in the morning before they get chased off. The game drives were very good, there was a lot of game with less driving. Seeing Giraffe with the lake as background was special. Our guide...
