When first arriving I noticed modest houses that fit to the surroundings well. Welcome was warm and we were well served and helped to get to our rooms (cabins). When we got settled we noticed the great attitude that owners and staff had to made us enjoy our stay. It was amazing! Too much to mention all the positive things,...

We spent a truly relaxing and spectacular two days at Three Tree Hill Lodge. Our hosts Simon, Cheryl and Fiona were attentive to our every need. Our room was so cosy, with amazing bottles of lotions, scrubs and balms to submerge your body in..Needles to say I climbed under my beautiully prepared and luxurious bed smelling of sage and rosemary...Definitely...

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 days at Three Trees with our 2 little children (aged 2 and 4). Even with small children in tow this place was incredibly relaxing and so stunning. More than that, however, this place has perhaps the best hospitality of anywhere I have ever stayed. When they say nothing is too much trouble, they genuinely...

We've just returned from a stunning 2 days at Spioenkop. The place has such a calm, quiet way - from the breezy chalets with porches overlooking Spioenkop (and the rhinos that roam it), to the rustic main lodge which displays historical memorabilia from the Anglo-Boer war, to the meandering hiking trails, the various dogs, cows and horses that wander the...

The moment we stepped onto the property we knew this was our kind of place, 5* Boutique as opposed to a large impersonal hotel where you are just a number. Simon and wife Cheryl were the perfect hosts and we felt like part of a family, Our cottage was beautiful and quaint, opening up onto a porch with view of...

A wonderful space to spend a quiet few days refreshing the soul in the bush with gracious hosts Cheryl & Simon and attentive staff who provide convivial hospitality in the common dining & lounge area yet know when to 'step back' and leave one to be alone - if that is what you want for a while. All the comforts...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this amazing place and we wish it could have been longer. There is so much to see and do and the owners – Simon and Cheryl are simply wonderful. Due to my mobility problems they put us in the family suite, very near the dining room, where we had our own log...
